Reese is preparing for his sophomore season, and if he can build from his performance at camp, he will bring a lot of productivity from the lead guard position. He showed his ability to score from multiple levels, and he was highly active on the glass for an under 6-ft guard. He isn’t afraid to hit the boards and, as a result, found himself getting easy put-backs.
He is shifty with the rock in his hands as he plays at different speeds. He was tough to stop at camp, and if that’s an indication of what he will bring this winter, defenders need to be aware.

Matthew is a lengthy interior presence who impacted games with his play apart from scoring. He challenged shots at a high rate and made offensive players earn everything they got in the paint and at the rim. He altered a lot of shots, which created a lot of missed shot opportunities. Offensively, he is still developing, but he did show explosiveness at the rim with his ability to finish above the rim. Matthew’s post-defense is a value to any squad he suits up for, as he makes life challenging for potential scorers looking to produce on the inside. As he continues developing his tools on offense, he has the chance to emerge as a good all-around player.
DeShun Payton (6’3/SG/’24/Rossville Christian Academy)

DeShun was at his best when out in transition. He was constantly looking to get out in transition, and he was a threat whenever he was running lanes or leading the break. He had the ball in his hands a lot and was putting pressure on the defense. He is a swingman who showed his ability to attack inside and out and was highly productive in both areas of the court. He has straight-line speed, which often gave him an advantage when he was looking to get to the cup. He is a senior looking for that first offer and played like it throughout the day.
Darryl Cotton Darryl Cotton 6'0" | PG Rockvale | 2024 State TN (6’0/SG/’24/Rockvale HS)

Darryl is a shooting guard who played with the ball in his hands a lot. He is a patient ball-handler who picks his spots. When he finds the room needed or the defensive breakdown that gives the slightest wiggle room, he exploits it. He’s really good at getting to his spots and gets good separation at the cup and on his perimeter jumpers. He is a good finisher in the paint, and despite standing 6’0, he isn’t afraid to take it to potential shot blockers.
Josh Huggins (6’4/PF/’28/ Alabama Fusion )

Josh Huggins continues to impress every time I see him. He didn’t have the motor at a 100 at this camp, but his output was still better than many in attendance. In a gym filled with players older than him, Josh held his own and showed he could produce at a high level against high-level competition. He is an interior presence on both ends of the floor and showed his ability to score on the low block, grab the board, and go coast to coast. He is young but has a good physical profile, and he plays as strong as he looks. He battles on the post, fights relentlessly for rebounds, and clogs up the middle when on D. He is a prospect who is already garnering attention from the next level, and the eyes of those from the next level will only continue to grow.
Tyler Tanner Tyler Tanner 6'1" | PG Brentwood Academy | 2024 State #133 Nation TN (6’0/PG/’24/Brentwood Academy)
Tyler was hands down the best player in the gym. The Vanderbilt commit is highly explosive off the bounce and demonstrated next-level athleticism. He scored at will, used the threat of his scoring to set up teammates, and showed why his playmaking skills were second to none in the building. He is a scoring machine who can truly get a look wherever and whenever he wants, but as he eyes life in the SEC, honing in on the continued development of his PG IQ will be vital. When talking about the camp prior to arriving, everyone started out with the name Tyler Tanner Tyler Tanner 6'1" | PG Brentwood Academy | 2024 State #133 Nation TN as the player to watch, and he definitely lived up to the excitement. He has a brilliant floor game, excels as a P&R ball-handler, and makes everyone around him better.
