The Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase is a series of events geared around incoming 2027 prospects that will be getting ready for their first year at the high school level. Our goal is to get those talents on our radar quicker and on the radar of coaches around the country. This Sunday, our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase will tip-off at Fishers High School with nearly 170 of the best prospects in the Class of 2027. Let’s begin to preview the great event by highlighting some of the top players to watch at the showcase.
Braylin Fertil (Fort Wayne Snider H.S. 2027) – A 5’11” point guard with good playmaking skills, Fertil is one of the prospects to watch coming out of the Fort Wayne area. The Snider product can make shots from beyond the arc, creates well off of the dribble from the perimeter, and does a good job of distributing to his teammates when he gets into the paint. Definitely one to watch at Sunday’s Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase.
Keyshawn Galloway (Taylor H.S. 2027) – This left-handed point guard has crafty ball handling ability and is a creative finisher at the end of his drives. Galloway will drive it hard in either direction and has shown the ability to finish with both hands. You’ll likely see him get on the floor right away for Taylor High School this winter as a freshman. The Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman showcase will be a good barometer for where he stacks up with his peers statewide in the Class of 2027.
Peyton Miamba (Penn H.S. 2027) – In terms of physical tools, there will be few, if any, prospects at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase more impressive than this Penn High School product. Miamba is 6’5″ with incredible length and athleticism on the wing. He can be an impactful defender, is very talented in transition, and will attack the rim in a straight line off of the bounce. He has a chance to be one of the better long term prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2027.
Griffyn Robisch (Park Tudor 2027) – Robisch is a long, skilled wing that is now 6’3″-6’4″ and can really shoot the basketball from beyond the arc. His ability to stretch the floor at his size makes him a very intriguing long term prospect coming out of Park Tudor. He has continued to expand his game off of the dribble and it helped him be a consistent scorer throughout the summer for Indy Heat Gym Rats 2027.
Brady Windle (Cathedral H.S. 2027) – Windle is a very good athlete with some impressive physical tools that should shine through at Sunday’s Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. The 6’3″ wing will attack the rim off of the bounce, use his athleticism to elevate and finish at the rim, and should make some plays in transition as well. His is a name to remember at Cathedral as he continues to develop in their always strong system.
