Look for Reis to be a stockriser because of his signature skill. The big man was one of the best rebounders I laid eyes on this summer. He has a combination of strong hands and determination. Last saw him around Memorial day, so if the post has any sort of growth spurt, look for his rebounding prowess to only increase.

Players from New Mexico don’t always get the exposure they deserve, however that may change for Martin. Caught the scoring guard out in Arizona, and he played well. His ability to score the ball was obvious, however it was his overall skill set that really impressed. The talented guard has the ability to playmake, and can shoot the ball from distance.

Speed, and Athleticism are easy skills to recognize and Jawoa has both in spades. He was an eye opener the first time I saw him in Phoenix and has improved since then. His ability to rebound the basketball, protect the rim and score around the basket, make him one of the more intriguing stockrisers in the class.

Keep Mejia on the radar. The PG was a revelation at an event in Las Vegas. He has long arms and a good handle. In addition to his skills, Mejia also has some brains. He is a high IQ player, with good instinct. Mejia plays the passing lanes well, and can rack up points transitioning defense to offense. Overall the PG is a talented highly skilled, high IQ lead guard.

It’s easy to classify Carter as a scoring guard, however he plays with the ball in his hands enough to be known as a PG. The guard is dynamic, complete with a quick first step and finishing ability. He is an unselfish player, willing to use his blow by ability to draw defenders before hitting them with dimes.

Lopez is a player that I’ve been tracking for some time. His size makes him an obvious prospect, his skill makes one drool at his potential. Caught the big man this summer in Arizona, and he was able to catch and score around the rim.
