FIRST TEAM

[player_tooltip player_id='1160843' first='Caden' last='Casey'] - Hardwood Elite

[player_tooltip player_id='1160843' first='Caden' last='Casey'] was a dominant floor general and had a great weekend leading his team to the 17U championship game. He showed exceptional footwork with the ball while also making great cuts off the ball to score at a consistent rate. He finished with 16 points in the semifinal game and added another double-figure performance in the final.

Wyatt Powell - MO Legacy

A pure three-level scorer, Wyatt Powell had a few big time scoring performances this past weekend. Most notably, his 29-point performance in the quarterfinal. Once he got hot, he kept going. Knocking down plenty of threes and even hitting a shot from 3/4 court before halftime. He also displayed nice bounce inside after creating separation from defenders.

Cyle Steffl - Wisconsin Hoops Select

Steffl failed to disappoint me in two games this weekend. He displayed excellent shooting abilities with a smooth release, while adding five 3-pointers in first half vs Illinois Orange. Steffl finished that game with 20 points and added 24 more Sunday morning against Pocket City in the semifinal. There, he also displayed a nice ability to attack the rim while also get the guys around him involved.

Kellen Jedlicka - Arnold Elite National

The 2024 F is a prospect who impressed with his strength, mobility, and consistency. Jedlicka opened the week with a 25-point showing against Minnesota Heat. He put up at least two more big scoring performances afterword to help push them to a 3-1 record on the week. Not only was he so efficient scoring inside, but he was just as good from the perimeter. The corner was his sweet spot as he hit a wide range of three's from over there.

Malachi McNair - Pocket City

The Sunday MVP Award undoubtedly goes to McNair. He was nothing but extraordinary on the interior and the focal point to Pocket City's championship run. He was extremely physical down low. Displaying excellent footwork and positioning to make things look easy. Scoring at a high volume. He also created lots of second chance opportunities and was a factor in the rebounding category.
