Magana gained valuable experience as a Freshman starter on the Varsity team. He’s a quality ball handler with vision and passing to involve others first. He looks settled running the offense up top. He has range to knock down 3ptrs, 43%. He can hit the short jumper off the dribble. 11ppg his first year on the Varsity. His numbers will go up.
He’s one of the taller prospects in this group at 6’8. He has an improving skill set for his size, showing patience and improving foot work in the post area. He’s a triple threat at the high post taking full advantage if his passing, and handles to drive it in. He can hit the free throw jumper and step out for a 3 at the top on occasion. He rebounds,
The big guard did a bit more ball handling and passing in the open court and in transition this spring and summer playing 15U. He plays under control and makes good use of his body to help protect the ball on his drives into the paint, and handling contact in the paint. He has range to knock down the 3pt shot, and a body to help rebound.
