Ethan Maynard Ethan Maynard 6'3" | SG Compass Prep | 2024 State NJ , 6’2 SG Compass Prep
Maynard is prepping at Compass Prep in 2023-24, where he should have a strong season. The 6’2 guard has a quick release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Maynard is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and finish around the basket. He moves well without the ball in his hands and slides his feet on the defensive end. Maynard’s stock has the ability to rise over the next couple of months with his ability to score inside and out.
Sutan Fitzpatrick Sutan Fitzpatrick 5'10" | PG Covenant College Prep | 2024 State NJ , 5’10 PG Covenant College Prep
Fitzpatrick is doing a postgrad season at Covenant College Prep and he should have the ball in his hands throughout the season. The 5’10 guard is explosive off the bounce as he can elevate for dunks and finishes nicely around the basket. Fitzpatrick can also score in the mid-range and is an underrated passer. He plays with quick hands on defense and is an underrated rebounder. Fitzpatrick is a slashing guard prospect whose ability to finish at the rim is something that will help his stock during the season.
Sam Wright Sam Wright 6'3" | SG Hun | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 SG Hun
Wright has the ability to have a big winter with his ability to shoot the ball from the perimeter. The 6’3 guard wastes little motion in his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Wright moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He has an underrated handle and can get deflections on defense. Wright’s shooting is something that will help his game over the next couple of months.
Donte Alexander Donte Alexander 6'1" | CG Nottingham | 2024 State NJ , 6’0 CG Nottingham
Alexander will have the ball in his hands more this season, which will help his game in a big way. The 6’0 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and finish around the rim. Alexander can make shots through contact and is able to finish in the mid-range. He gets his teammates involved in the halfcourt and is a good on-ball defender. Alexander’s ability to run the offense is something that will help his development over the course of the 2023-24 season.
Mahdee McNair Mahdee McNair 6'3" | SG Camden Eastside | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 SG Camden Eastside
McNair joins a talented Tigers team who is looking to regain the Group 3 title. The Timber Creek transfer has a good handle, which he uses to get by his defender and finish around the basket. McNair knows how to get to his spot on the floor and rises up with confidence on his jumper. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. McNair is a lanky wing prospect who should have a breakout 2023-24 season.
