Steve Donahue Steve Donahue 6'4" | SG Montgomery | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 Montgomery
Donahue is primed for a breakout senior season with his ability to make plays at both ends of the floor. The 6’3 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Donahue moves well without the ball in his hands and is an underrated passer. He can put the ball on the floor and slides his feet on the defensive end. Donahue is a three-and-D guard prospect who should have a strong senior campaign with his shooting ability.
Alesi Mingo Alesi Mingo 6'2" | SG Newark East Side | 2024 NY , 6’2 Newark East Side
Mingo is a prospect to track in North Jersey as he should have more touches on the offensive end. The 6’2 guard sets his feet before he shoots and rarely forces bad shots in the halfcourt. Mingo has a solid handle, which he uses to create space off the bounce and can finish around the rim. He is a tough on-ball defender as he makes it hard for his man to get to his spot on the floor. Mingo’s ability to defend the ball is something that will help his stock in a big way.
Evan Bunnell Evan Bunnell 6'3" | SG Robbinsville | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 Robbinsville
Bunnell had a solid junior season and it should carry over into 2023-24. The 6’3 guard attacks the basket strong as he finishes nicely around the basket and is unafraid of drawing contact. Bunnell rises up with confidence on his jumper and can make opponents pay for giving him space on the perimeter. He is a strong rebounder for a guard and gets deflections on the defensive end. Bunnell is a hard-working guard prospect whose ability to finish around the basket is something that will help his game throughout the season.
Johnny Magner Johnny Magner 6'4" | SG Bridgewater-Raritan | 2024 State NJ , 6’4 Bridgewater-Raritan
Magner should get more shots up this season, which will help his stock this winter. The 6’4 guard uses his handle effectively as he is able to get to the rim and finish around the basket. Magner can also score in the mid-range and has a good shooting stroke. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is an underrated defender. Magner’s ability to finish around the basket and score in the mid-range is something that will help his game in a big way over the next couple of months.
Trey Maultsby Trey Maultsby 6'3" | SG Pingry | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 Pingry
Maultsby had a big junior season as he had 12 20-point games, including three 30-point performances. The 6’3 guard is at his best attacking the basket as he finishes strong around the rim and can make shots through contact. Maultsby makes smart decisions with the ball in his hands and can make opponents pay for giving him space on the perimeter. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is able to get deflections on the defensive end. Maultsby’s ability to score inside and out is something that will help his game throughout the 2023-24 season.
