Landon Pokorski Landon Pokorski 6’2″ | PG Gretna | 2024 State NE is listed as the top point guard in the 2024 class. The prospect out of Gretna recently picked up an offer from D2 powerhouse, (Augustana SD), winners of the 2016 National Championship. He also received an offer from SMSU just yesterday. Pokorski had a great Spring/Summer with Nebraska Supreme , and an even better Junior year with Gretna, as he was First Team All-Nebraska and First Team All Super State. Pokorski is a special talent, and deserves to be listed as the top point guard in his class. Look for him to try and lead his talented Gretna squad to a state championship in Class A this season.
Eldon Turner Eldon Turner 5’10” | PG Bellevue West | 2024 State NE , another Nebraska Supreme point guard, had a very nice Spring/Summer. He showed everyone that he can play against the best of the best, and contribute to winning at a high level on both ends of the floor. Just recently, Turner picked up an offer from Wayne State in the NSIC. Look for Turner to have a huge season this year for Class A powerhouse, Bellevue West. Scholarship level coaches should continue to look his way.
The Omaha Westside point guard, CJ Mitchell CJ Mitchell 5’10” | PG Omaha Westside | 2024 State NE , played very well for ETG this summer. While he is a super talented player, he may also be one of the quickest/shiftiest players in the 2024 class. A ton of talented guards have come out of Omaha Westside. There is no question Mitchell is the next one up. Mitchell is another prospect scholarship level coaches should check out while he is still available.
Taye Moore Taye Moore 5’9″ | PG Lincoln Southeast | 2024 State NE is another special talent in the 2024 class. He played very well for NHE this AAU season, leading his squad in scoring and assists. There are very few guys who can create better than Moore can. He has an elite ability to create space for his shot and blow by slower defenders. Moore currently holds an offer from Metro State in the RMAC. Coach Dan Ficke and his staff clearly see a talented prospect. Look for more D2 coaches around the area to pursue the point guard out of Lincoln Southeast.
Dane Jacobsen Dane Jacobsen 6’1″ | PG Ashland-Greenwood | 2024 State NE is a winner. That is the first thing that comes to mind when talking about the point guard out of Ashland-Greenwood. Jacobsen had a solid campaign this Spring/Summer with Lincoln Supreme National, and just recently committed to Concordia in the GPAC. Jacobsen is the type of player coaches want with the ball at the end of games because he seems to never make a mistake. Look for Jacobsen to try and lead his Ashland-Greenwood squad to another state championship this winter.
