Son of the much-heralded WVU legend Kevin Pittsnogle, Kwynsie is looking to make his own mark on a college basketball program. A recent growth spurt has put him at a height that’s hard for college coaches to overlook. During Pitt Jam Fest in Pittsburgh PA he was impressive with in-game IQ, ability to communicate and execute the routine plays against more than formidable opponents. Kwynsie has a sweet and smooth stroke from deep that will remind much of his father’s and is accruate enough to stretch a defense. Already having D3 interest, D2’s could be knocking soon.

The Toepfer name is well know in the upper Ohio Valley while maybe not so much in the rest of the state. Leyton has been lighting up the nets at Brooke High School versus big school opponents during last season. That momentum has continued into spring tournaments blistering the nets as leading scorer on several occasions. His high basketball IQ and knack for scoring allows him to carve up defenses and create opportunities for teammates. Already garnering D3 interest, Leyton is a lock to get next level opportunities.

Matthew Mahood Matthew Mahood 6'4" | SF Musselman | 2024 State WV
Mahood’s highlight tape is as good as I’ve seen for someone playing in the post. Quick moves to the bucket combined with an excellent vertical creates many scoring opportunities for himself. Look for Mahood to utilize his athleticism more facing the bucket and creating matchup problems for opponents this upcoming season. Matthew has had D3 interest recently but could certainly make several D2 or NAIA rosters better as well.
A quick and athletic guard has been somewhat buried on a roster loaded with all-staters, D1 athletes and college commits. Joy is taking full advantage of his opportunities Joy has played in limited AAU tournaments but has lit up the local high school summer league that includes several big school opponents. Joy has a veteran feel for the game and will stuff the stat sheet any way you want it with his above average athleticism and outstanding vertical. The South Patriots will reload this year with Joy as their likely leader. Certainly a D3 grade with opportunity to jump higher.
