After breaking down some high-level shooting guards that are preparing to lock in for their junior campaigns next season, it’s time to continue to evaluate the class of 2025 as we move onto another list of talented prospects in a new position. Without any further ado, here’s my list of the top 2025 power forwards in the state of Tennessee to keep an eye on this upcoming season.
Highlights
At the top of my list of standouts is Cade Bennerman Cade Bennerman 6'11" | PF Father Ryan | 2025 State #262 Nation TN , a 6-foot-10 power forward at Father Ryan High School. Bennerman was one of the most explosive weapons for the Irish during his sophomore stint of high school basketball last year. In addition to impressive size and speed, what stands out about Bennerman is his well-balanced playstyle, strong ball control, smart passing and explosiveness along the perimiter and in the paint. The rising junior out of Nashville, TN. additionally caught my eye with his defensive effort and ability to consistently grab rebounds. After a great season on the court, Bennerman is definitely an intriguing talent to watch out for next season.

Claiming the second place spot on my list is Kennedy Okpara Kennedy Okpara 6'7" | SF Silverdale Baptist | 2025 State TN , a 6-foot-7 power forward at Silverdale Baptist Academy. Okpara was one of the more efficient standouts on the Seahawks’ roster during his sophomore season of high school basketball last year. With excellent size, speed and footwork on both sides of the floor, Okpara made a big difference on the boards, contributing pin-point accuracy from range and in the paint, smart passing and solid decision-making. The rising junior out of Chattanooga, TN. additionally caught my eye with his defensive strength and rebounding effort. After a strong year, Okpara is definitely worth watching out for this upcoming season.

Finishing at number three on my list of standouts is Chandler Gamble Chandler Gamble 6'6" | PF South Greene | 2025 State TN , a 6-foot-7 power forward at Knoxville Halls High School. Gamble was a highly explosive weapon on both sides of the floor during his sophomore stint of high school basketball last year. In addition to excellent size, speed and versatility on both sides, what stands out about Gamble is his quickness in transition, passing ability and consistent scoring effort, utilizing his athleticism to make a difference from range and underneath the rim. The rising junior out of Knoxville, TN. additionally caught my eye with his defensive effort, collecting rebounds as well as defending the rim from outside shots and threats down low. After a great season, Gamble is definitely worth watching out for next season.

The rising junior out of Jackson, TN. additionally made a solid effort on the other side, providing heavy coverage on the perimeter and in the paint. After a great season, Jenkins is definitely worth keeping an eye on this upcoming season.

Scheetz made a huge difference on both sides of the floor for the Hawks during his sophomore season of high school basketball last year. With excellent size, speed and quickness in transition, Scheetz contributed consistency and pin-point accuracy from range and in the paint. The rising junior out of Knoxville, TN. also stood out with his defensive toughness, utilizing his height to provide solid coverage and grab rebounds. After making a commanding statement on the court last year, Scheetz is definitely worth keeping an eye on this upcoming season.
