Over the course of the weekend, I saw countless of players and teams compete with multiple big time performances throughout. I have already looked at my Top Performers and given underclassman evals but now, let’s take a look at Part 2 of some of the other performers that I saw at the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals and evaluate their performance.
At 6-foot-7, Thomas is a massive post prospect that knew how to use his size. He was a pick-and-roll big that always did a great job of slipping to his spot and creating an opportunity for an easy bucket around the rim. Showed solid footwork out of the post up and made it hard for anyone to score in the paint on the defensive end. Played real hard for Indiana Ambition 2025.
Loescher is a bigger guard that plays physical and likes to defend. Playing for Team Teague 2025, he was off the ball lot of the time but projects right now to be a bigger point guard at the next level. Although the ball stuck with him just a little too much, I thought he displayed solid court vision and was able to make a big play here and there. Has real confident type of style to his game and anxious to see colleges start offering.
Highlights
Williams is 6-foot-5 power forward out of Lafayette Harrison and each time that I have watched him, he has played so hard and that was the case this weekend when I watched him on Kyle Guy Elite 2024 Black. He has a natural strong build to him and is always fighting for the boards making any move he can to get the ball. His scoring will almost always comes around the rim and if he can develop more of a jumper, it would really take his game to another level. Just a tough overall player that is going to give you everything he has.
Highlights
Green, who played for Team Teague 2025 Hilliard/Mixon, is a guard that can play on and off the ball at a good rate. He has a real thin build to him but has a wide frame as well. Played with a good amount of bounce and showed off some impressive lane attacks that resulted in dunks. Also used some high athletic ability to block shots on the defensive end.
Highlights
Teschendorf actually played up with Kyle Guy Elite 2024 Black and proved to be a great addition to this squad. Mostly coming off the bench, he worked real well off the ball and was cutting very hard to the basket and would often get a look at the rim because of it. Seen him a few times now and always impressed with his feel for the game and court awareness. Plays very unselfishly and is always looking to help anyway he can on the floor.
Dallas Freeman – 6’3 G/F 2025 – Greenfield-Central – Kyle Guy Elite 2025 Black
Freeman was a player that I had never actually watched before but came away so impressed with his motor and play. He provided Kyle Guy Elite 2025 Black a strong, physical presence and was making all the little plays needed. He was also scoring inside-out well and was attacking the glass so hard for the rebounds. He was recently picked up by Kyle Guy Elite and with his performance I saw over the weekend, that proved to be a good addition.
