Dallas Thomas Dallas Thomas 6'8" | SF Little Rock Parkview | 2024 State AR -Power Forward-Little Rock Parkview-2024
Dallas Thomas Dallas Thomas 6'8" | SF Little Rock Parkview | 2024 State AR is a forward that does not mind doing the dirty work on both ends of the court. He is a young man that will battle for rebounds and play aggressive defensive on the defensive end. Meanwhile, he has a smooth jumper and can extend his range and shoot from deep. Opposing defenders must account for his good mid-range jumper and his ability outwork others for the ball. To start this week off, Thomas placed his commitment with the Clemson Tigers. Congratulations go out to Thomas on his commitment with the Tigers.
JJ Andrews JJ Andrews 6'5" | SG Little Rock Christian | 2026 State AR -Small Forward-Little Rock Christian-2026
The Little Rock Christian forward had the opportunity to open plenty of eyes at the Peach Jam over the weekend. Andrews did not disappoint one bit. He displayed impressive athletic ability and was all over the court. Andrews was dangerous on the defensive end of the court. He did an excellent job of keeping his hands active and terrorizing opposing players. On the offensive end of the court, Andrews continued to show that he can finish above the rim while absorbing the contact. Today the Illinois Fighting Illini extended a scholarship offer JJ’s way. Congratulations go out to Andrews as well.
Jacob Lanier Jacob Lanier 6'6" | SG Maumelle | 2026 State AR -Point Guard-Maumelle-2026
Jacob Lanier Jacob Lanier 6'6" | SG Maumelle | 2026 State AR had the opportunity to play for the Gateway Knights over the weekend. Lanier did not disappoint one bit. He is a point guard that likes to push the tempo. However, he is never out of control and makes great decisions with the basketball. Lanier was making great use of his speed and finishing at the basket. He has earned multiple scholarship offers over the past few months and he has the potential for a breakout season this season. Get to Maumelle and watch Lanier play if you have the opportunity this season.
Ornette Gaines Ornette Gaines 6'5" | CG Fayetteville | 2024 State AR -Combo Guard-Fayetteville-2024
The Fayetteville guard put in work on both ends of the court this past weekend. Gaines has displayed a deadly mid-range game. He has a nice jump shot and is not afraid to take the opposing guard off of the dribble. Gaines started the new week off in style this week. He earned a scholarship offer from Harding University. Both Gaines and Fayetteville have the potential to open plenty of eyes this upcoming season.

The Arkansas Hawks have been playing some impressive basketball over the past few weeks. Camarion Bead Camarion Bead 6'1" | CG Bryant | 2026 State AR is a player that helped the Hawks this past weekend. Bead and the Hawks reeled off four straight victories and looked extremely impressive doing it. The Bryant point guard continues to hit contested shots at big moments in basketball games. Bead is just getting warmed up and he has the potential to have a strong 2023 season for the Hornets.
Jadyn Haney Jadyn Haney 6'3" | PG Fayetteville | 2024 State AR -Combo Guard-Fayetteville-2024
The Fayetteville Bulldogs have an impressive amount of talent returning for the 2023 season. Haney does a good job driving through the paint and finishing at the rim. He is a shooter than can hit from all over the court. Haney is not afraid to get in the paint and battle for rebounds. The talented guard earned a scholarship offer from Harding to kick of the week today. He is setting the stage for a strong senior season this season.
