Blake Garza Blake Garza 6'6" | SF Davis | 2024 State WA CF Davis
Garza is a kid with exceptional length and activity that plays a little like Stretch Armstrong around the rim. His impact stems from good movement without the ball, quick reactions, good reads while rebounding and contesting shots, and a hunger to make plays. He has shown improvement with his jump shot and can create a little on the offensive end, but his next-level traits are rebounding and defense, though he does read the floor well on both ends and can make big plays on the offensive glass.
Jalen Dollar Jalen Dollar 6'0" | PG Roosevelt | 2024 State WA PG Roosevelt
Dollar has been really solid this summer. He’s a point guard that has the pulse of his team, constantly looks for ways to create looks for teammates, and has been exceptional in the pick-and-roll as well as getting to the hoop on his own to finish. He sees angles and vulnerable space, has good burst to attack gaps, and has the body control to finish in a variety of ways at the rim. He’s a brilliant guard that can control pace, and score when needed from inside or out, but works to make plays for others.
Adam Davis Adam Davis 6'6" | SF Tahoma | 2024 State WA G/F Tahoma
Here’s another player with a well-rounded game that can make just about any play on the court. He passes, scores, defends on the perimeter, at the rim, can rebound and shoot an outlet up the floor or take the reins in the halfcourt and create a look. He has size and sneaky athleticism that makes him a diverse threat on the wings.
Caden Culver Caden Culver 5'10" | PG Skyline | 2024 State WA PG Skyline
This is a polished point guard who is really going to be relied on this winter. He’s a high-level communicator who handles the ball well, keeps the offense flowing, and has some razzle-dazzle to his game at times with his ability to squirt passes into tight spots. Though it’s his scoring and defending that has really caught my attention this summer. He’s improved the consistency with his jumper, is strong at the rim, and has pronounced himself as a pesky on-ball defender.
Ray Adams Ray Adams 6'7" | SF North Thurston | 2024 State WA CF North Thurston
The kid’s physical tools are spectacular. He’s a 6-foot-7 forward with a huge wingspan that can dominate the boards and reach right over defenders to score at the rim. While all his length and athleticism are big pluses, it’s his growth with the ball in his hands that has been most eye-opening. His dribble still needs work but he’s able to drive in from the perimeter, is more confident attacking from the post, and has continued to work to improve the range on his jumper. He looks like he’s only scratching the surface and is easily one of my favorite prospects from the summer.
