Here were some of the junior standouts I viewed:
Christopher Brookins Christopher Brookins 5'9" | PG Bella Vista Prep | 2025 State AZ Bella Vista Prep (Team Zona 16 Gold)
An undersized point guard is a bully on-ball defender. He pushes the pace to his teammates in the open court and sets the table. He will get downhill with his burst and speed and hit some perimeter jumpers.
Fresh Carter Fresh Carter 6'1" | SG Bella Vista Prep | 2025 State AZ Bella Vista Prep (Team Zona 16 Gold)
One of the leading scorers in the game I viewed is a highly skilled guard who can shoot it. He hit multiple off the dribble three point shots impressively. He can catch and shoot from mid to the three and rattle shots off in bunches. He was really scorching hot from deep but find creases in the defense to get to the basket.
Archie Graves IV Archie Graves IV 6'0" | PG Supreme Academy | 2025 State AZ Central (Factory 16)
A shifty ball handler who is a good defender. He has a very quick first step to get past his defenders and will finish at the rim with a tough layup package. He plays the game fast and will throw a quick dime and takes pride in stopping his opponent.
Ryan Burbach Ryan Burbach 6'3" | SG Brophy Prep | 2025 State AZ Brophy Prep (AZ Select 16 UAA)
A sharp shooting scoring guard can catch and shoot from the three point line one by one. He hit five threes and the teams started coming back down almost 20. He has hard ball fakes and will side step and let it fly, He also rebounded the ball well and drove the lane and finished off a tough reverse layup.
Carlos Coronado Jr Carlos Coronado Jr 6'3" | PG Supreme Academy | 2025 State AZ Phhoenix Prep (AZ Select 16 UAA)
A very good showing for the scoring point guard. He scored it from all levels. He had driving layups, he stopped and popped from mid-range. swooping layup with the left hand and step backs from the three. He is a plus on-ball defender to go along with his size, feel and athleticism.
Uriah Tenette Uriah Tenette 5'10" | PG Prescott | 2025 State AZ Prescott (Factory 16) (Pictured)
A shifty and athletic point guard is a natural three level scorer but can thread the needle when needed. The ball gets out of his hands so easily. One of the better passers when he is not looking for his shot. Up the court, slips off a pick and roll and on the break. He hits the three, has the floater game, uses a tough runner and can pull-up from mid-range.
Bryce Quinet Bryce Quinet 6'3" | PG Notre Dame Prep | 2025 State AZ Notre Dame Prep (AZ Select 17 UAA)
The bigger strong scoring lead guard plays at his own pace. He runs the team like a son of a coach would. He makes the correct read seemingly every time and is a good passer on the run. He can hit the catch three and seems to get hot quickly. He also has a tighter handle in close spaces to get past his defenders.
Gerron Jr Graham Gerron Jr Graham 6'2" | PG Premier Prep Tucson Academy | 2025 State AZ SoAZ Volz (AZ Select 16 UAA)
A defensive minded guard has grown a couple inches in the last year or so. He is a tough on-ball defender and he truly changed the game by being a pest with his quick hands and feet. He ripped a few pockets then made the correct read for the score.
