Carolina Rebels 16 Prevail:
Darius Franklin Darius Franklin 6'5" | SF Ridge View | 2025 State SC , Teon Tindal Teon Tindal 6'8" | PF Crestwood | 2025 State SC and Bryson Taylor Bryson Taylor 5'10" | PG Dutch Fork | 2025 State SC were all at it again this weekend for the Carolina Rebels program. Franklin a forward from Sumter HS was on the top of his game this weekend with his play. Darius brought a nice inside-out game to the table at times. Franklin had his stroke working today to go along with his ability to get downhill at times from the top of the key. Darius at times can be a touch matchup on the floor when he has all his game working. He kept up his solid play this spring and summer to the final end this weekend.
Tindal a post player from Crestwood HS played his typical game around the paint for the Rebels. Teon does a great job of rebounding the ball on both ends of the court and keeping the ball up high. He tends to play bigger than this height with his ability to protect the rim at times.
Taylor a point guard from Dutch Fork HS makes this engine go for the Red, Gray and Black squad. Bryson has the ability to connect on open shots or simply leave off a pass for his teammates. He doesn’t look to force the issue from out top.
Hendrix Stays Hot:
Brayden Hendrix Brayden Hendrix 6'0" | CG Christian Academy Of Myrtle Beach | 2025 State SC is not the biggest kid on the block that’s for sure. Brayden has had a very solid spring playing on the Grassroots Circuit with Horry Select after making a few previous stops. Hendrix who attends Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach understands what he needs to do to be successful on the floor and that’s make shots just at a good clip. Brayden has done that all summer long. He really plays the game with some savviness while on the floor and never backs down from a challenge.
Dukes Has Old School Game:
Kevin Dukes Kevin Dukes 6'3" | SF Riverpointe Christian Academy | 2025 State SC is a left-handed man child in the paint that can play a little bit inside-out at times. Kevin who runs with Team Ford is most effective around the block while bullying defenders along the way. He will use his body to carve out space and separation from his opponents. Kevin can get downhill from the top of the key and get by defenders to the bucket.
This season he will play at the new SCISA school Riverpointe Christian Academy in North Charleston. Dukes piled up numbers last season at Class 5A Stall HS.
Hall Keeps Gaining Attention:
Jaheim Hall Jaheim Hall 6'6" | SF South Pointe | 2025 State SC brings a lot of versatility to the floor for his Next Level SC program. Hall a long and rangy guard-forward plays the game with a lot of energy that’s for sure. He was able to finish at will today at the bucket while providing great defense on the ball. Hall who runs at South Pointe HS in Rock Hill will be a player to watch moving forward into his junior season.
