Over the next several days we will be beginning with our rising senior class for our stock risers edition. If we are missing anyone who deserves to be recognized, please send us a direct message.
The 6-0 rising senior guard is one of the most underrated perimeter shooters in the state as he shot 39 percent from beyond the arc last season for Bradenton Christian. Baker does a great job at pushing the ball in transition as well as a great passer who gets his teammates involved often. He is also an excellent on-the-ball defender who can also do all the dirty work on the glass as he’s an above average rebounder for his size. Expecting a big senior season for Baker as he should start gaining some interest from D2 coaches this year.
Highlights
The 6-2 guard can score in a variety of ways whether it’s off the catch or off the bounce as he had a big summer for Episcopal School of Jacksonville. Jackson averaged in double figures while shooting 40 percent from beyond the arc as he is poised to have a big senior season. His recruitment has started to take notice as well as he’s received offers from Chattanooga, Fairfield, Lipscomb, Samford, William & Mary and several others.
The 6-8 power forward is not your traditional back to the basket prospect, as he can also stretch the floor and score on all three levels. He also plays a very physical game and battles on the boards with the best of them. He has a strong skillset where he should start gaining some college interest as he gears up for his senior season. Puodziukaitis is coming off a junior season where he averaged a double-double for Palm Beach Central.
The 6-6 combo guard is coming off a pretty impressive summer for 1Family Hoops where he displayed his shooting touch on all three levels. Blount plays with a high IQ and has a tremendous feel for the game where he can get his teammates involved. On the defensive side, Blount is an underrated rebounder and seems to have a knack to find defensive lapses and take advantage of any mismatches to finish around the rim. Excited for Blount to continue to gain more interest from college coaches as he gears up for his senior season.
Highlights
The 6-0 guard is a well-rounded player who continues to get better and stronger on the attack. Bureau is a traditional three-level scorer who can also use his athletic frame finishing at the front of the rim against bigger defenders. On the defensive side of the basketball, Bureau is a great on-the-ball defender as well as explosive when he is on the glass as he can rebound with the best of them. Bureau also plays with a ton of physicality where he frustrates the defenses with his ability to get downhill.
Highlights
Murray is a smooth player and continues to prove he can be one of the top-tier scorers in the state. He also brings a true feel for the game and is a proficient three-level scorer who can knock down the perimeter jumpers with space. Murray has a high IQ that can fit in at the next level with his knack for his ability to knock down tough shots. Murray currently holds offers from Clayton State, Kennesaw State and Saint Leo.
