Jayden McCoo (Illinois Bears 16U)
McCoo made a statement in the opener for the Illinois Bears scoring 20 points including taking it end to end to send the game to double OT. Slick ball handler that loves to score off the bounce and in the open floor. Quality defender that knows how to use his length on that end of the floor.
Docker Tedeschi Docker Tedeschi 6'8" | PF Benton | 2025 State IL (Illinois Bears 16U)
Top prospect on the Bears 16U squad got off to a slow start Friday, but then picked it up in the second half and carried it over to their Saturday game. Skilled four man that can stretch the floor with his shooting. Uses his bounce and timing rebounding well on both ends of the floor high-pointing rebounds in traffic while also being a rim protector on the defensive end. His passing was outstanding during the event especially from the high-post hitting cutter.
Shaunassey Hatchett (Capital City Teamwork 16U)
Springfield Lanphier 2024 small forward had a workman like performance of 20 points in their opener. Hatchett is a strong bodied wing that is a powerful finisher on slashes and out of the dunker spot. Plays with energy on the offensive glass. Improved jump shooter that flashes it.
Torioun Rice (Capital City Teamwork 16U)
Another Lanphier product shined as the lengthy 6’1” point guard was slicing and dicing through the defense for scores in the lane on runners and transition finishes.
Donte Montgomery Donte Montgomery 6'2" | SG Oak Lawn | 2025 State IL (The Work Foundation 17U)
The Oak Lawn two guard is playing up at the 17U level and continues to shine. Known mostly for his feathery jumper in this game it was his defense and acrobatic finishes at the rim that carried the way scoring on tough finishes at the cup.
Sam Donald Sam Donald 6'8" | PF Columbia | 2025 State IL (Gateway Basketball Club 16U)
Columbia 6’8” face up four with good size that can knock in pick/pop threes or ones off the catch. Finishes out of the dunker spot and is a sound passer for a big man.
Nathaniel Smith (Illinois Orange 17U)
Three and D two guard from Belleville East that will debut in our next 2025 rankings. He is a plus three point shooter that also really defends on the perimeter and presents physical upside.
Willie Felton Willie Felton 6'1" | PG Bishop McNamara | 2025 IL (1 Dream 16U)
Scrappy guard that is a solid passer, crashed the glass, and had a nice soft touch finishing game around the rim.
Ramsey Momon (Chicago Grinders 16U)
Prosser guard stands at about 5’10” and can really score the rock as a primary ball handler. He loved to get in the lane converting and-1s, scoop shots, and runners on a regular basis.
Jacori Brown Jacori Brown 6'0" | SG Belleville East | 2025 State IL (HDK 16U)
This two guard has a big frame which allows him to take a bump at the hoop and still finish. Got fouled on drives and was good at stopping and popping from mid-range. Scoring guard that has some potential because of how hard he plays and his natural skill level.
