Jayce played out of his mind and we got a glimpse of that growth on the floor at the GWC in Utah but he was really playing special. He has turned his level of play up and he is playing with some sauce out there too as he was delivering some elite passes. He was finding players quickly and he was giving that ball up quickly as well. He had some passes in traffic that just wowed. He is going to turn into a difference maker scoring and passing the ball. Owyhee really has another player that has versatile skill.
Talan looks more like 6’4 right now and this kid has that positional size out on the wing and he was playing with a flame thrower last night as he was getting some great looks and with a lot of attention going towards Isaac Davis Isaac Davis 6'8" | PF Hillcrest | 2024 State #140 Nation ID he was found many times and he came through. He actually has a super tough pump fake and relocate jumper. If he can continue to spread the floor with that elite shooting he is really going to help Hillcrest win some tough games.
Next Level Play
A lot of people in attendance to likely watch Bryce James but they got a treat as Isaac stole the show with a big time dunk to start the game. He was dropping dimes as he is known to just find open players with his unselfish play. He was blocking shots and he even pined a player in transition defense. Isaac is a lot better than the country gives him credit and it’s nice that this Idaho kid can show what he can do.
Highlights
He is starting to really assert himself on both ends of the floor and the way he runs the floor is something that you can really note. He has to play the 5 for his high school team but he is more of a 3/4 at the next level. Coaches need to zero in on him for sure. He is a player that can rebound and go and he has elite finishing ability.
Glue Guys
Ike Sutton Ike Sutton 5'11" | PG Hillcrest | 2024 State ID : Ike was doing a little bit of everything but he is playing with some high level confidence right now and he is a player that can create for himself off the bounce.
Titan Larsen Titan Larsen 6'3" | CG Hillcrest | 2025 State ID : Tita was doing what he does best and that is shoot the rock.
Logan Haustviet: He is going ot be a very good distributing guard that doesn’t let the ball stick but he can also make shots and get to the rim when he needs to.
