Amare Anderson Amare Anderson 6'2" | PG Greer | 2025 State SC – Greer High School
Amare impressed College Coaches this past weekend at the Winthrop and Western Carolina Camps, and then was really good again today at the Runnin Rebels Summer Shootout. He’s an elite scorer who is extremely effective on Pull-Up Mid Range Jump Shots. He also rebounds his position at a high rate – both on offense and defense – which is in large part to his athleticism and in particular his second jump. Anderson will be looking to increase the teams on his College Radar as Greer will head to the Wofford Team Camp starting this Thursday.
Evan Enos Evan Enos 6'8" | PF Byrnes | 2025 State SC – Byrnes High School
Evan Enos Evan Enos 6'8" | PF Byrnes | 2025 State SC will be a different player in High School Ball than he was during the AAU Season. Splitting time between Upward Stars SE 3SSB SE and Team Charlotte, Evan was mostly a spot-up shooter, which he is more than capable of doing. But with Byrnes, he will be much more. He has developed a nice spin jumper, which is very important against hard close outs. He’s listed at 6’7″, which makes it hard for High School 4’s to both bother his shot and contain him off the dribble. Enos is no doubt one of the Top Shooters in the State, but I’m excited to watch his continuous growth as an all-around player.
Keenan Arcega-Whiteside Keenan Arcega-Whiteside 6'3" | SF Dorman | 2025 State SC (Dorman High School) – A Two-Sport Star at Dorman, Keenan is the Defensive Centerpiece for Coach Ryan and the Cavaliers. He is a great mixture of thick and quick, and is able to guard multiple positions due to those attributes. At 6’4″ he is a little undersized for a 5A Center, but his athleticism allows him to protect the rim extremely well. He also showed an ability to finish with his right hand off the dribble, which will be key to keeping defenses from cheating away from him.
Malachi Cooper Malachi Cooper 6'2" | SG Ridge View | 2025 State SC (Ridge View High School) – Ridge View High School had two teams in action at the same times today at the Runnin Rebels Summer Shootout, but one of the Blazers that stood out was Malachi Cooper Malachi Cooper 6'2" | SG Ridge View | 2025 State SC . Although he can also be effective as a Ball Handler, Cooper is going to be an important 3 & D Player for Coach Staley this season. He is a knockdown shooter, but the improvement of his defense could be key to Ridge View’s Season.
Reggie Mack Reggie Mack 6'0" | CG Ridge View | 2025 State SC (Ridge View High School) – Reggie was another Blazer that impressed Tuesday. Playing on the other of the two Ridge View Teams, Reggie had the majority of faciliating duties. He pushed the pace and set up his wings with great looks in transiton. Mack has a very high Basketball IQ and rarely forces the issue. The Blazers have a lot of talent on the roster again the this season, but Mack’s role will be important getting everyone their shots and keeping the turnovers to a minimum.
