Today is National VCR Day, a day to remember the glory days of VHS tapes and “remember to rewind” signs. In honor of National VCR Day, I’m going to go over 5 players that college coaches will want to watch tape of ASAP.
This is a get in while you still can thing. Yeager should have them knocking at his door. If you don’t believe me, just watch the tape. Let’s start with the obvious. We all know that Yeager is an elite shooter, not just in the state, but in a collection of states. The range on his jumper extends to somewhere on the car ride to the gym. The best thing about Yeager though, is that the rest of his game is improving quickly and vastly. He’s seeing the floor and getting the ball to where it needs to be offensively.

Burgess is definitely a player that some schools will want on their radar. He goes to his right with physicality and can finish in and through traffic. Burgess takes a straight line to the rim and can use a nice hesitation dribble to get there. I really like his ability to change speeds with the ball in his hands and he has a nice speed burst that can put defenders on his hip.

Goetz is a very intriguing prospect that college coaches will want to take a look at. He has a solid basketball frame with length and strength a big part of that. Goetz is a versatile player that can defend multiple positions effectively. He closes out on shooters high and pressures the shot with his length. Goetz can score when battling in the paint and can also step out and bury a triple.
James is a player that’s seemed to have put in the work this spring and is reaping the rewards. He’s a very good shooter that college coaches will want to take a long hard look at. James’ jumper is smooth and he always looks so balanced and under control when he shoots it. In my opinion, as solid as he is now, I think his trajectory for improvement is outstanding and bodes well for his future.

Rademacher is that guy that every coach needs on his roster. He can be a terrific leader and a guy that teammates can count on. Rademacher has never been issued a challenge that he won’t accept. He’s an energy player that steps up on the defensive end of the floor and is willing to guard multiple positions. Rademacher can groove his jumper as well. College coaches will want to be very aware of this prospect and his continued development.
