Today we feature several 2025s who could grow their profiles with strong play this June and in local summer leagues.
Myles Blackley Myles Blackley 6'3" | SG Immaculate Conception | 2025 State NJ | 6’3″ | G| Summit 2025
Blackley is a well built guard who’s a solid shooter with a nice form and release point. A multi-level scorer who can hit shots consistently from most spots on the floor. Above average ball handler who has a quick first step to get to the rim off the bounce. He’s got an understanding of the game that is mature beyond his age and scholarship programs have taken interest already. Hovering just outside our top 10 for the class of 2025, it’s very well possible that this summer sees Blackley force his way in the top 10. He had 28 against Roselle and 27 vs Oratory as top games as a sophomore.
Asher Bradley Asher Bradley 6'0" | PG Oratory Prep | 2026 PA | 5’11” | G | Oratory 2025
Bradley, like Blackley down the street, has made a name for himself in Summit the last two years. More of a facilitator thank Blackley, Bradley combines a good basketball IQ with solid dribbling and passing skills to be the motor for Oratory in the half court. His scoring load should grow as a junior but he still had some solid outings as a sophomore, with 16 vs DePaul being his standout performance. He’s a player who could push his way into the 20s this summer.
AJ Altobelli AJ Altobelli 5'11" | PG Union Catholic | 2025 State NJ | 5’11” | G | Union Catholic 2025
Altobelli returns as one of the top guards in Union County for this season with two years and a state championship under his belt. A high confidence guard who can handle the ball well and break down defenders to move the ball in the halfcourt. He’s going to be the bus driver for the Vikings as they look to maintain their state championship contender status in a loaded Parochial A classification. He’s a prospect who could see his stock rise over the next two years–Currently in the 40s, it’s not unreasonable to see him jump up the rankings as he matures. He had 21 vs Morris Knolls and 19 vs Linden last winter.
McRae stepped into a leadership role as Elizabeth worked to hold a high standard after winning the state title. A solid ballhandler who can get to the rim. He can shoot it pretty well and has a quick release on his jumper. He’s going to be expected to take a big step forward for the Minutemen this coming season. He’s in the 60s right now but is a player, in a spot, at a program, where he could easily rise higher. He had 28 vs Pioneer Academy and 20 in a loss to a Moon Twp team from Pittsburgh that features two scholarship level guards in Michael Santicola and Elijah Guillory.
Jordan Ghee Jordan Ghee 6'3" | SG Don Bosco Prep | 2025 State NJ | 6’3″ | G | DePaul 2025
Ghee made a name for himself as the Spatans faced a relentless schedule last winter. He’s a multi-faceted player on offense who can move the rock but also score it off the bounce or pulling up. He’s got nice size at 6’3″ and can cause matchup problems at the HS level with his physicality and ability to play through contact. He’s a confident shooter and has passing skills that are under-the-radar. Defensively, he has the foot speed to guard either the 1 or 2 at the HS level. He had 24 vs Oratory and Brooklyn South Shore as high points of an excellent sophomore season.
