Jalen Langsy Jalen Langsy 5'11" | PG Shakopee | 2024 State MN – guard – Minnesota Crossfire
We saw a full arsenal on display for Jalen this past weekend. Langsy played for Crossfire who were short handed and he provided the scoring punch to get the team to the final four at 17u. Jalen had a game where he scored on eight threes, there were a few 20+ point games, and all around he gave Crossfire the punch to make a run.
Max Lorenson Max Lorenson 6'2" | SG Eden Prairie | 2025 State MN – guard – Minnesota Select
The champions of the 16 and Under level were Minnesota Select led by the constant scoring attack of the Eden Prairie guard. Lorenson came down hill at times all weekend and there was nobody that could consistently keep the guard in front of them. Max finished contested attacks at a high percentage rate for Select who has not lost a game since late April.
Brogan Madson Brogan Madson 6'1" | PG Mankato East | 2025 State MN – guard – Minnesota Select
Few players were able to take contact and finish at the rate Brogan did all weekend. His attacks are the definition of physical and tough, and the skill is there to complete. Madson was a big part of Select’s undefeated streak dating back six weeks now. Not only did he score consistently but Madson led his team in assists as well.
Joseph Mitchell III Joseph Mitchell III 6'0" | PG Cretin-Derham Hall | 2026 State MN – guard – Team FSA
At the 15u level if you have a guard that can attack and finish regularly, you are gold because size has not developed yet at this age to do anything about it. And Mitchell was gold for the weekend as the top player competing in 15u at this event. FSA gutted out a title game win over the Comets led by Mitchell who led his team in scoring for the weekend with his vicious attack coupled with a soft touch.
Jaden Morgan Jaden Morgan 6'4" | SG DeLaSalle | 2024 State MN – wing – Minnesota Select
Morgan was Select’s leading scorer this weekend as the blue and white standouts earned the 17 and Under championship this past weekend. Morgan is such a tough cover because he can shoot it, because he’s an athletic slasher, because Morgan is active off the ball and a tough cut to cover, and because he can pull-up using his touch to finish. A finisher in many ways.
Shaun Wysocki Shaun Wysocki 6'7" | SF Rochester Century | 2024 State MN – wing – Minnesota Lightning
Shaun is one of the most consistent finishers in Minnesota basketball right now at the 17 and Under level because every single game he provides. If the jumper is off or his attacks aren’t complete, Wysocki still consistently hits his numbers with activity going at the rim. Great in transition, moving off ball, and on the glass. Throw in the jumper and the attack and that is why he’s a top prospect.
