****Note, this is scholarship offers, not offers to be on a team. There is a big difference although all are pretty cool. But hey, I guess the modern way of thinking means I got two “offers” out of high school! Wow!
Jackson Fowlkes Jackson Fowlkes 6'4" | SG Park Center | 2024 State MN of Park Center/D1 Minnesota (6’5 wing, 2024). After watching Jackson at the Battle at the Lakes UMD followed their vision and extended a scholarship offer the skilled and agile guard. We’ve seen Jackson play both wing spots and at times bring up the ball and his offer to UMD solidifies Jackson as a top 15 prospect in this state.
Brooks Johnson Brooks Johnson 6'6" | SF Duluth Marshall | 2025 State MN of Duluth Marshall/ Starks Elite (6’6 wing, 2025). Do you know what a second D1 offer usually means? That you are a legit D1 talent. Sure those offers can go away quick but they also mean opportunity. And the skill of Brooks Johnson Brooks Johnson 6'6" | SF Duluth Marshall | 2025 State MN has brought him opportunity. That offer came from College of Charleston which is one of the best mid-majors to play for in college basketball.
Kyle Jorgensen Kyle Jorgensen 6'9" | C Minneapolis Washburn | 2024 State #308 Nation MN of Minneapolis Washburn/Minnesota Comets (6’9 big, 2024). Kyle was offered today by Eastern Illinois which goes along with his offer from UST. What does it mean? It means if you can shoot the ball you are a wanted commodity. Especially at 6’9 with a back to the basket game as well as the ability to pass the ball.
Jackson McAndrew Jackson McAndrew 6'10" | PF Wayzata | 2024 State #24 Nation MN of Wayzata/Howard Pulley (6’10 PF, 2024). Let me save you the suspense, Jackson is the best prospect in Minnesota’s 2024 class. His recent offer was from Penn State joining Virginia Tech, Notre Dame and Xavier recently. And more will come. The crowd at the MBCA event from the high major level, most are coming to watch Jackson. He’s a top 50 level talent to me nationally.
Shaun Wysocki Shaun Wysocki 6'7" | SF Rochester Century | 2024 State MN of Rochester Century/Minnesota Lightning (6’7 SF, 2024). The latest offer to the hottest stock riser in the state came from USF. Shaun has the agility and length you want at forward but the quickness, production and improving skill to be a three. I think he will be a top D2 kid and I would not be surprised to see D1s sniff around some this summer.
