Delani Hyde Delani Hyde 6'6" | PF Compass Prep | 2024 State NJ , 6’7 PF Compass Prep 2024
Hyde had a solid performance as he made plays throughout the workout. The lanky 6’7 forward ran the floor hard during the transition drills and finished strong above the rim. Hyde moved well without the ball in his hands and showed a good release on his jumper. He moved his feet on the defensive end and influenced shots with his length. Hyde is a long forward prospect whose ability to finish around the rim and stretch the floor will help his stock in a big way.
Matt Land Matt Land 6'3" | SG Hun | 2024 State NJ , 6’4 SG Hun 2024
Land had a strong session during the workout as he showed the ability to score the ball in different ways. The 6’4 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and knocked down jumpers when given space on the perimeter. Land did more than just shoot as he also put the ball on the floor and finished nicely around the basket. He pushed the ball well in transition and moved well without the ball in his hands. Land is a sharpshooting guard prospect whose ability to finish around the rim and defend the ball will help him during the July live period.
Jaydin Humber, 6’6 PF Arts 2024
Humber has the potential to have a big July with his combination of size and athleticism. The lanky 6’6 forward exploded off the floor for dunks and finished nicely around the rim. Humber showed a nice release on his jumper and knocked down jumpers from behind the arc. He ripped down rebounds on both ends of the floor and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Humber is a prospect to watch with his ability to finish around the basket and swat shots in the paint.
Aziz Sutton-Shorter, G West Caldwell Tech 2024
Sutton-Shorter had a good showing at the workout as he showed the ability to stretch the floor. He has a smooth release on his jumper as he wasted little motion and knocked down open jumpers from behind the arc. Sutton-Shorter shot the ball with confidence and was not rattled by on-ball pressure. He moved his feet well on the defensive end and showed the ability to play off the ball. Sutton-Shorter’s ability to shoot the ball from deep, along with his ability to finish at the rim will make him a guard to watch over the next couple of weeks.
Peter Noble Peter Noble 6'2" | PG CBA | 2024 State NJ , 6’2 PG CBA 2024
Noble had a solid showing at the workout as he was able to show the ability to play on or off the ball. The 6’2 guard has a clean shooting stroke and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Noble pushed the ball well up the floor in transition and moved well without the ball in his hands. He made good decisions on offense and slid his feet on the defensive end. Noble is a marksman from distance whose ability to get to the rim and finish will help his development in July.
