Here is the All-Tournament Six Team:
Brandon Curtis Brandon Curtis 5'10" | PG Campo Verde | 2025 State AZ Campo Verde
A scoring point guard is a good ball handler and can hit open three point shots. He is a good passer and is very quick with the ball in his hands. He can cross his man over with a tight handle and is smart off the pick and roll game. He is very fast on the break as he can out race most.
Oliver Fay Oliver Fay 5'10" | PG Arcadia | 2026 State AZ Arcadia
A scoring point guard is a dimer. He makes smart reads to his teammates and he will drive and kick it and can get into the lane and dump it off. He has a quick first step to get past his defenders and will score on floaters and has a good looking stroke from the perimeter.
Julian Garcia Julian Garcia 6'2" | SG Seton Catholic Prep | 2024 State AZ Seton Catholic
A scoring guard can put the ball in the basket a variety of ways. He can hit step back triples and drive by’s in traffic with contact getting downhill using a good handle to create his own shot. He plays with a high motor to rebound in and out of his area.
Will Gordon Will Gordon 6'2" | CG San Tan Charter | 2026 State AZ San Tan Charter
A bigger two-way point guard is athletic and can score. He cuts when he should and rebounds well for a guard. He will score on put backs after he takes it off the glass, hits the three, gets out in transition and is a very quick on-ball defender.
LaQuay Jerkins Jr LaQuay Jerkins Jr 6'4" | PF Phoenix Country Day | 2024 State AZ Phoenix Country Day (Pictured)
An athletic power forward can face-up to the three point line. He is very raw but long and is a plus athlete who can throw it down giving the team some much needed athleticism. He has long arms to block shots and rebounds the ball at a good clip as he attacks the ball at its highest point.
Deshaun Johnson Deshaun Johnson 6'3" | SF Corona del Sol | 2025 State AZ Corona del Sol
A long wing forward can get to the rim and he defends multiple positions. He can dribble drive to score or hit the catch three. He is slowly becoming a very good rebounder in his area leaping up with two hands. His versatility is needed to make plays for the Aztecs.
Malachi Johnson Malachi Johnson 6'2" | SF McClintock | 2024 State AZ McClintock
A newcomer for me is an athletic wing forward. He is a plus rebounder, he runs the floor well with fluidity and does a little bit of everything. He can shoot the three with some range off the catch and has a very shifty handle to get to the rim. He is also a very good on-ball defender using his length and quick twitch.
Jordan Kidd Jordan Kidd 5'5" | PG Chandler | 2024 AZ Chandler
A very fast scoring point guard who transferred last year from Bella Vista Prep. He can put up points quickly with pull-ups from mid-range and catch threes with range. He plays with a lot of pace and pushes the ball every chance he gets. He will burst in the lane and score on floaters.
Gage Lindsey Gage Lindsey 6'5" | PF Red Mountain | 2025 State AZ Red Mountain
I actually watched him the least of the 80 players since he got injured but enough to see he is talented. He has pretty good size and handles the ball well. He is somewhat of a tweener but does damage from inside and out. He shoots mid-range jumpers and can fall away from his defender and handles it well enough to create his own offense.
Luke Padilla Luke Padilla 5'10" | PG Seton Catholic Prep | 2024 State AZ Seton Catholic
A scoring point guard with a good feel for the game. He can shoot the three plus get to the rim. He will drive it after a decent burst and then kick it to a shooter. He has more than adequate open court speed to beat his opponents down the court.
