Here is the All-Tournament Second Team:
Cohen Ferguson Cohen Ferguson 6'1" | SG Campo Verde | 2024 State AZ Campo Verde
A sturdy framed scoring guard puts up points with step backs and catch threes. He can pull-up from mid-range and this seems to be his sweet spot. He is creating more of his own offense as a senior. He has more on his plate now but is finding that happy medium of facilitating and scoring when they need him to.
Taimari Jones Taimari Jones 6'6" | PF McClintock | 2024 State AZ McClintock
A very fluid power forward moves like a wing. He is a big time rebounder and shot blocker. He has good hands to catch tough passes inside and he goes up very quickly to score near the hoop. He is slowly stepping out and shooting it and his ability to defend in space and in the post makes him valuable.
Asher Perez Asher Perez 6'1" | CG AZ College Prep | 2025 State AZ AZ College Prep
A combo guard grew on me the more I watched him. He scores it with catch threes, he can pull-up from mid-range, has advanced footwork inside, he can go coast to coast plus has a sneaky good burst and will score thru contact. He also made his teammates better with up the court passes, drive and kicks and handled a lot of the PG duties.
Quintin Ragland Quintin Ragland 6'1" | SG Tucson | 2025 State AZ Tucson
An athletic guard can defend and make open shots. He is relentless on the defensive end with his quick hands and feet and plays with a big motor to compete on that end of the court. He can get to the rim with a quicker burst or hit the catch three or even on the move.
Cameron Rice Cameron Rice 6'7" | PF North Valley Christian Academy | 2024 State AZ North Valley Christian Academy (Pictured)
A good-sized power forward is a smart passer with a stronger frame. He is a two-handed rebounder who is always looking for someone to box out. He can create his own offense in the paint versus other post players and will hit the catch three with a super quick release. He holds his ground in the post on defense and will block shots in his area with his length and timing.
Bobby Rodriguez Bobby Rodriguez 6'1" | PG North Valley Christian Academy | 2025 State AZ North Valley Christian Academy
A high IQ and skilled point guard plays with a good feel for the game. He will put up points with step back threes off the dribble, ball fakes and burst by, mid-range jumpers and floaters. His three point stroke is looking more polished. He is deceptively fast but his handle is very tight to create separation. He reads the defense well with many up the court passes and has quick feet and hands to defend.
Braylen Rooney Braylen Rooney 6'5" | PF Arcadia | 2025 State AZ Arcadia
A strong power forward just so happens to be the starting QB on varsity for the football team. He has advanced post footwork, he steps out and hits the three and will box out and will grab many rebounds in his area. He blocks shots, runs the floor and brings some toughness to the court. His hands really stood out to catch tough passes and grabs tougher rebounds in traffic.
Blake Sosnowitz Blake Sosnowitz 5'10" | PG Phoenix Country Day | 2025 State AZ Phoenix Country Day
A super intelligent scoring point guard made them competitive all weekend long. He has the deep three from the volleyball line and it is one of the deepest shots in the entire state. His change of pace is really good and will makes passes with his left or right hand. He often gives a hard shot fake and then will side step into his three or can step back and shoot it. He threw a few impressive up the court passes.
Colton Watson Colton Watson 6'6" | SF Sandra Day O’Connor | 2026 State AZ Sandra Day O’Connor
An athletic wing point forward who looks good in every game in the three days. He will create his own offense and he stays in motion for open shots. He handles the ball a lot in the offense and is an incredible offensive rebounder and passer. He is getting better at handling the ball and getting to the rim to score and his spin move off of his created shot is his best move. He blocks shots with a quick leap up and plays an unselfish type of team game.
TayVion Wilson TayVion Wilson 6'0" | PG Sandra Day O'Connor | 2025 State AZ Sandra Day O’Connor
An offensive weapon for SDO gets hot very quickly. The scoring lead guard can shoot the catch three with a super quick release. It seems like he barely catches it before it gets out of his hands. He has the floater game and can pull-up from mid-range off a curl. He threaded the needle with his left hand to cutting teammates for assists and is definitely a better passer then he gets credited with. He hit a few clutch shots late in games.
