He had a great run at the state 2B tournament this season. He was a walking bucket vs Brewster keeping his team in the game. He has versatility with size and can shoot it from anywhere. He played all over the floor, even point guard for a portion of the game. He was hitting pull-up threes and getting himself to the basket. He is high ceiling coming out of the 2B ranks. LRS lost some key pieces, so his role will only grow.
I watched him in Centralia this spring and saw the potential to be a great point guard who can also score. He is strong and can get into the lane often where he is capable of both scoring and facilitating. He is also a good shooter from three. He played with a high basketball IQ and makes good decisions as an unselfish player.
Staying in the 2B ranks, he is a bucket getter who has grown physically and as a player. He can really shoot it and has the creativity to score effectively on all levels. He does the bulk of the scoring for his team but has shown continued improvements in the last two years and I don’t see that stopping anytime soon.
Highlights
Going back to the 2B ranks again for one of the most athletic guards at that level. He has improved his scoring and his shooting. He was already good at getting to the basket but his all levelh scoring potential puts him on the list of players on the rise. He also topped 1,000 career points at the state tournament this season.
I think he will have a breakout type of year next season. He has the skills to be a great player with decent size and versatility. He does a little bit of everything well. He can score, rebounds, and plays effectively all over the floor. Pretty good athlete waiting to make that jump with the skills already there. If he becomes a knock-down shooter, his game will flourish.
