Jamarion Batemon Jamarion Batemon 6'3" | CG Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2025 State #174 Nation WI – Guard – Power 5
Batemon emerged as a top five prospect in the state this spring…The plus-length, 6-foot-3 sniper just went off on a national level and proved to be unguardable in high level competition. Batemon came up as mostly a 3-point threat. He’s expanded his game and added tools to be able to thrive in the mid-range. The one thing that’s not talked about enough is his defense. Batemon has a little dog in him, wants the other team’s best perimeter player, and can create a lot of turnovers with his length. Illinois became the first high major offer for Batemon, who will likely get more power-five attention this summer.
Chris Davis Jr. – Wing – Power 5
Davis was a big part of Power 5’s success this spring. Playing alongside two Division 1 prospects, Davis made plenty of noise on his own. The 6-foot-3 wing shot the ball at a very high level and wowed with his ability to create space off the dribble and knock down tough, contested shots. Put Davis in isolation settings, he can go to work. Think there’s some sneaky ability as a playmaker as well. Saw Davis get into the paint and make some fancy/unexpected passes with the basketball. Good blend of strength and athleticism here as well. Coming off a monster sophomore season, Davis is one of the fastest-rising prospects in this class.
LeTrevion Fenderson – Small Forward – Wisconsin Playground Club
While he’s playing 15U, you can tell Fenderson is no joke and one of the more improved players in the state. A physical, explosive slasher, Fenderson is one of the toughest players to stop when he gets a sniff of the rim. Love the face-up ability in the high post or the rip-and-go mentality from the perimeter. Fenderson wants to get to the cup in two dribbles or less and can play above the rim with ease. Defensively, Fenderson has some dog in him too. He’ll shut off straight-line drives, stick his face in the fan as a rebounder, and set a tone on that end of the floor.

Gavin Gores Gavin Gores 6'9" | PF Cumberland | 2025 State WI – Power Forward – Wisconsin Playmakers
Gores will likely make the biggest jump out of any prospect in the rankings. The measurables and upside make him a very good prospect. At 6-foot-8, Gores runs the floor really well, impacts the game above the rim, and can defend on the perimeter as well. He’s got some post skills and the ability to stretch the floor from 3-point range. Think Gores will surely end up being a very good Division 2 prospect. That’s his floor. If the perimeter skills continue to improve and Gores can be a reliable back-to-the-basket big man against size, he’s a D1 guy.

Brooks Hinson Brooks Hinson 6'1" | PG Marshfield | 2025 State #251 Nation WI – Point Guard – Wisconsin Playmakers
Hinson’s making a case for the best pure point guard in this class. A lot of the qualities you want in a floor general, Hinson does them above and beyond. A leader, high-IQ guard that plays mistake-free basketball, Hinson elevates his teams. Able to control games as a scorer and a facilitator, Hinson might not wow you athletically or size-wise, but he’s got the goods upstairs and just has a different feel for the game. Hinson is also one of the best 3-point shooters in this class. You leave him open, you’ll pay. Hinson is a knockdown shooter that gets hot and stays hot throughout the course of the game. While he’s a pass-first guard, Hinson can get 20 if his team needs it.
Zach Kinziger Zach Kinziger 6'3" | SG De Pere | 2025 State #127 Nation WI – Shooting Guard – Team Herro
Has anybody had a better spring than Kinziger? The De Pere sniper has been lighting up some of the best guards and AAU programs in the country. A very advanced, high-IQ scorer with range, skills, and combo guard ability, Kinziger brings a lot to the table. He’s the type of player that can score based on the coverage and take whatever the defense wants to give him. A relentless worker off the ball, most of Kinziger’s battles are already won before he ever comes in contact via smart cuts or just outworking his man. Green Bay and Cal-Poly have offered early. I think you’re gonna see a ton of mid-majors pull the trigger sooner rather than later. As of now, I’m betting on Kinziger as a high major prospect when all is said and done.
Xzavion Mitchell Xzavion Mitchell 6'6" | SF Oshkosh North | 2025 State #119 Nation WI – Forward – Team Herro
It’s been a two-horse race for the top player in the state. I’m not convinced that Mitchell isn’t in the conversation. The 6-foot-7 forward has had a dominant spring in the Nike EYBL and is a double-double threat every time he steps on the floor. Mitchell owns the paint on both ends of the floor. He’s got tremendous touch around the rim for a big man and is a very underrated passer in the high post. He’s also a get-it-and-go type forward who can grab a rebound and it take it coast-to-coast for a bucket. A high-energy, athletic forward that’s steadily improving as a ball handler and jump shooter as well, Mitchell picked up his first offer from Cal-Poly and he’s far from done.
