Here is the Northwest Conference, the number inside the parentheses is where they are ranked inside the entire class.
Anthony Canales Anthony Canales 6'4" | SG Lynden | 2024 State WA (8) – Lynden HS
Canales is a do-it all player who can score at all 3 levels smoothly and holds his own on the defensive side. He has led the Lions to back to back 2A state titles, where he was named back to back state tournament MVP’s. Canales could very well lead the team to the illustrious 3 peat and I think he has the team around him to do so.
Jeremiah Wright Jeremiah Wright 6'6" | PF Lynden Christian | 2024 State WA (31) – Lynden Christian HS
Wright has been a big factor for the Lyncs on the court over the past couple seasons. He has helped them win back to back 1A state titles and last season had a big role for the team. He is a big framed body down low that not many teams can matchup against. Wright will only see his role increase more with the 2023 class graduating.
Quinn Swanson Quinn Swanson 6'2" | SG Mount Vernon | 2024 State WA (47) – Mount Vernon HS
Quinn is a walking bucket. Thats the simplest way to put it. If the team needs a bucket, they will look to Quinn and rightfully so. He is shifty with the ball and can finish around the rim very well. Swanson also has a very quick release, being able to release his shot before defenders can close out. He can easily drop 25/30 every night.
Bishop Ootsey Bishop Ootsey 5'10" | CG Ferndale | 2024 WA (WL) – Ferndale HS
Bishop is a solid guard who has tight handles and can attack the rim nicely. He is vocal on the court, leading the way for the Golden Eagles and holding his teammates accountable. He is a solid shooter but his facilitating stands out in my eyes. He has great vision on the court as he can find his teammates with ease.
Kayden Stuit Kayden Stuit 6'4" | PF Lynden Christian | 2024 State WA (NR) – Lynden Christian HS
Kayden played summer ball last season but decided not to suit up during the season. From what I’m hearing around, Kayden will be playing with the team next season. He stands at 6’5″ and weighs about 220 pounds. He is a big body down low who is aggressive and able to grab rebounds with ease. He’s a hustle player who gives it his all every possession.
Noah Tavis (NR) – Blaine HS
In my eyes, Tavis was the glue to this Borderite team that finished 3rd in the 1A class. Noah plays at full speed every single possession, on either side of the court. He hustles for every loose ball and will crash the boards every single time. His offensive pressance isn’t too great, but he will hit open 3’s if left open.
Wyatt Stephan (NR) – Bellingham HS
Wyatt is a solid 5’10” guard who facilitates his offense nicely. He averaged about 4 assists per game while scoring about 12 points per game. He is active on defense, moving his feet well and getting his hands in the passing lanes frequently. He can guard the opposing teams best player and cause them fits. He will have a big senior year next season.
Lucas Johnson (NR) – Mount Vernon HS
Lucas is a big frame down low, 6’7 300 pounds. Being honest, there are no other players who would be able to matchup against this big. Johnson sets great screens and is able to body defenders out of the way to grab or tip rebounds out.
Peter Albert (NR) – Squalicum HS
Peter is a big who hustles hard every possession. He gives 110% and it shows on the court when matchup up against other players who don’t bring the same energy. He sets solid screens and rolls hard to the rim. When he is fed the ball, he can finish over defenders or kick it outside. If he suits up for the Storm next year, he will have a big role on the team.
Braddock Duckworth (NR) – Sehome HS
Braddock stands at 6’6″ and is insanely athletic. He is one of the most athletic players in the entire NWC and is a tough matchup. He gives his all every play and can grab rebounds nicely. He is a fantastic rim protector, not allowing much past him in the paint. He’ll have a bigger role this season and should do very well.
