Sawyer Ramey Sawyer Ramey 5'10" | PG Deerfield Academy | 2024 State NLG , 5’11 PG – Fair Haven Union High School Class of 2023/Deerfield Academy Post Grad
VT’s Gatorade Player of the Year is heading to the NEPSCAC Class A Division. The southpaw has committed to Deerfield Academy to provide savvy facilitation, 3-level scoring, and high-IQ defense. Sawyer will be on the lookout for his next opportunity after his time at Deerfield, so keep him on your radar.
Riley Severy, 6’6 F – Green Mountain Select Varsity Class of 2023 / Norwich University 2027
The dynamic all-around forward stays close to home. Riley committed to Norwich University in Northfield, VT and will provide the Cadets with a variety of services. Inside/out ability on both ends, rebounding, multi-level scoring and facilitation, plus a handle that can relieve guards of ball pressure. I’m excited for his next opportunity.
Owen Traynor, 6’1 G – Mount St. Joseph’s Class of 2023 / Northern Vermont University – Lyndon Class of 2027
With Owen’s ability to fit at both the 1 and 2 slot, he adds a both facilitation and scoring. Traynor is a solid 2-level scorer at the rim and from 3, and he’s shown nice vision when the defense gives him too much attention. Moreover, with his strong frame and agility, he’ll be a physical perimeter defender. I’m interested to follow Traynor’s development at NVU.
Tavarius Vance, 6’2 G – Green Mountain Select Varsity Class of 2023 / Northern Vermont University – Lyndon Class of 2027
An athletic wing who’s strong on both sides of the ball, Vance will be staying local. Vance will either attend Northern Vermont University – Lyndon to continue his hoop career. Tavarius is a strong 2-level scorer at the rim and from range, and he can defend multiple perimeter positions. He’ll be a great addition to the D3 program.
Isaac Davis, 6’8 F – Green Mountain Select Varsity Class of 2023 / Northern Vermont University – Lyndon Class of 2027
Defensively, the big fella blends old school physical post defense and rim protection with modern big-man ball screen instincts and the footwork to stick with slashers as they attack the hoop. Moreover, Davis runs the floor well going both ways. Offensively, he’s a scoring threat within the lane, and if it’s not there, he’s a timely passer out of the post. Isaac will join his teammate Tavarius at Northern Vermont University – Lyndon to continue his hoop career.
