Musa Kasanga, 6’3 W – VT Elite 10th Class of 2025
An interchangeable 2/3 guard, Musa brought solid two-way game to states. He was set at the front of the press, using his length and athleticism to hound ballhandlers and cause turnovers. Plus, he showed nice work on the boards and created quick offense off the glass. Offensively, Musa displayed solid feel working off ball, spotting up to knock down shots and slashing when the opportunity arose. Kasanga’s 94×50 energy, instincts, and skillset are built for the modern wing.
Paul Comba, 5’9 G – VT Elite 10th Class of 2026
Comba’s on-ball and off-ball work were on point. Paul’s facilitation with the ball was smart and to-the-point, and he created nice offense for himself and others on his slashes. But I like him off-ball just as much. He moved wisely, cutting and relocating, and his range from 3 was dialed in. Defensively, Paul used his agility and anticipation to disrupt the offense and spark the break. Comba is one I’m keeping eyes on.
Ryan Murphy 6’4 F – Hartford Storm Class of 2026
The big fella was putting in work. Murphy was active on both sides of the glass, and his offensive rebounding was critical. He reeled in second chance opportunities and finished quickly + drew fouls to provide his team a boost. Moreover, he showed solid drop steps and passing skills around the post. And defensively, Ryan showed solid toughness protecting the rim. His team struggled at times, but Murphy’s energy and resilience shined through.
Marcus Flanders, 6’3 W/F – VT Elite 10th Class of 2026
Talk about grit! Marcus was grinding on both ends of the floor. Flanders is that swiss-army knife who does the dirty work. Marcus covered multiple positions with his length, strength, and athleticism. Plus, his work to rebound and get on the floor to collect 50/50 balls brought in numerous extra possessions. Marcus is still a bit raw offensively, but he finished around the rim, passed the rock, and played his role to a tee.
Haidin Chilafoux, 5’10 G – North Country Falcons Class of 2025
A combo-guard, Haidin showed solid facilitation and the ability to score at different levels. Chilafoux orchestrated the offense and worked to handle ball pressure amidst tough defenses. Moreover, he finished his open shots and showed nice vision to create open shots for others. A solid perimeter defender and rebounder too, Chilafoux put together a solid weekend.
Sam Massey, 5’10 G – VT Elite 10th Class of 2025
Sam’s toughness and agility on defense were evident from the start. Massey dug in against ballhandlers in the full court, got in passing lanes, and sparked the break for easy transition buckets. Furthermore, Sam showed nice off-ball senses, relocating for spot-up jumpers and attacking the rim when lanes opened up. Sam’s two-way glue game kept VT Elite clicking at a high level.
Andrew Joncas, 5’10 G – VT Elite 10th Class of 2025
With Joncas, you have someone who works hard on both ends. Andrew was engaged defensively all weekend, working passing lanes, pressuring ballhandlers, and collecting 50/50s. Additionally, Joncas showed nice instincts off the ball, knocked down open shots, and made smart + quick decisions with the rock. Andrew played his role nicely.
Noah Jenks, 6’1 G – Hartford Storm Class of 2026
Noah’s handle and athleticism are the skills which shined brightest. Jenks navigated ball pressure fairly well, using quickness and change of speed + direction to create space. Furthermore, Noah showed an ability to get to the rack and finish on either side of the rim. And defensively, he displayed flashes of his potential guarding the perimeter. I’m interested to see Noah’s development.
