I watched many of the local teams and noticed a few AZ players from out of state teams as well.
Here were the 15U AZ Standouts
Kristo Jackson Kristo Jackson 6'2" | SG San Tan Charter | 2026 State AZ San Tan Charter (UH Elite 15 UA Rise) (Pictured)
A strong downhill guard has a quick first step. He often touches the paint and then will score or make a play. He can jump stop on two-feet and go up strong in traffic. He is a very good rebounder and makes his money also on defense with steals playing the passing lanes and will block shots.
Makenzie Lazor Makenzie Lazor 6'6" | PF Casteel | 2026 State AZ Casteel (UH Elite 15 UA Rise)
A long shot blocker is a mobile face-up four man. He can shoot the three plus score inside with put backs and mini hooks. He springs up quickly to alter or block shots. He moves well in space and shows upside. One of the top 2026 newcomers.
Sir Myles Sir Myles 5'10" | PG AZ Compass Prep | 2026 State AZ AZ Compass Prep (UH Elite 15 UA Rise)
A stocky point guard who changes speeds well. He gets downhill with euros and power drives scoring thru contact. He can split defenders and kick it to a shooter. He uses his physical gifts on the defensive side of the ball.
Will Gordon Will Gordon 6'2" | CG San Tan Charter | 2026 State AZ San Tan Charter (UH Elite 15 UA Rise)
A bigger lead guard who does a little bit of everything. He rebounds well for his position, he moves the ball unselfishly and can score it. He can catch and shoot from the three point line. A quick defender who uses his size and quickness to keep his opponents in front of him. He shows good body control in the lane to score around traffic.
Justice Hinds Justice Hinds 5'10" | PG Saguaro | 2026 State AZ Saguaro (UH Elite 15 UA Rise)
An attacking downhill power guard is the younger brother of Jeremiah. He is very shifty and can hesitate or change speeds to get to the basket. He has good speed to blow past his defenders and plays with a big IQ. He can dribble thru traffic well and has a tighter handle.
Diego Sarabia Diego Sarabia 6'6" | PF Queen Creek | 2026 State AZ Queen Creek (UH Elite 15 UA Rise)
A skilled power forward has strong hands to catch tough passes in the lane amidst heavy pressure. He can step out and shoot the three, he can crab dribble and create some of his own offense and rebounds well in his area.
Jeehzus Pagan Jeehzus Pagan 6'0" | PG Boulder Creek | 2026 State AZ Boulder Creek (AZ Select 15 UAA)
A really good showing for Pagan. He is a ball hawk type of on-ball defender and showed his passing skills as well. He made some ropes up the court to running teammates and also scored it. He is best driving the lane but in this game, he hit four threes in rhythm.
Matt Delgado Matt Delgado 6'5" | SG Boulder Creek | 2026 State AZ Boulder Creek (AZ Select 15 UAA)
A versatile wing forward has many traits to like. He can shoot the three with some consistency with a high release above him and loves ripping thru and scoring in the lane. He uses his length on defense in the passing lanes and is a plus passer and teammate. He picked up two offers from Portland and Portland State this past week.
Brayden Newton Brayden Newton 5'11" | CG Boulder Creek | 2026 State AZ Boulder Creek (AZ Select 15 UAA)
A very fast combo guard flies in the open court. He can change directions and speeds very quickly. He will score on run outs and he got hot from the three point line. He will be contributing on varsity next year.
Luke Larrabee Luke Larrabee 6'0" | CG Brophy Prep | 2026 State AZ Brophy Prep (AZ Select 15 UAA)
A lefty sharp shooter can sling it well beyond the three point line. The scoring lead guard has a high feel for the game and can make plays for others but he is looking to score. He can catch and shoot it from the three off the catch plus step back off the dribble and let it fly.
