Key Players
Armonie Franklin Armonie Franklin CG Midfield | 2025 State AL (5’10/Guard/’25)
Armonie will be looked upon this summer to provide leadership as he is one of the most experienced guys coming back off a team that made it to the Final Four last season. He has been playing varsity basketball since his freshman season, and now that he is a rising junior, he is ready to step into the alpha role on the squad. He will be looked upon to provide production across the board. He got quality minutes throughout the season, so he is battle-tested, and the question is, can he be the piece to lead the Pats back to the Final Four.
Aaron Martin (6’2/Guard/’26)
Aaron recently debuted in our 2026 rankings as the #63-ranked player in his class. Look for Aaron to make some improvement in that area as he will be able to get more minutes which will bring about more visibility to a young man who brings a lot of excitement to the Patriots community. He brings versatility, is a 3-level scorer, and can defend all 5 positions if needed. Many people feel he is one of the top prospects in his class, and I am looking forward to seeing more of him in the coming months.
Brandon Riddle Brandon Riddle 5'10" | PG Midfield | 2025 State AL (5’10/Guard/’25)
Brandon is going to be a key piece to the Patriots this summer as they look to replace a lot of scoring production that was lost from their senior class. His scoring ability will be on display as he steps into a larger role that will bring about more minutes and more responsibility. He is a player that is not afraid to fail, which gives comfort to Coach Jones as he knows that he is going to get 100% from Brandon in every practice and every game.
Coaches Corner
I spoke with Coach Jones and asked him about two players he is interested in seeing how they perform in June, and he mentioned Armonie Franklin Armonie Franklin CG Midfield | 2025 State AL and Aaron Martin. They are his two most experienced players returning from the Final Four team. Though they are young, they are both very talented, and he is looking to see if they can step up and win the team this summer.
Look for Midfield to continue their uptempo style of play with the use of organized defensive pressure. Coach Jones’ offensive philosophy has always been the dribble drive attack because he is so used to having talented guards, and this year will be no different. The Patriots are very young, returning 5 players from last year’s team. There are no seniors on this squad, so even though there might be some bumps along the way, what cannot be denied is the Patriots’ future is bright.
