The event featured teams from all over the east coast and was chock full of talent for all levels, with college coaches from all over in attendance.
Here’s a look at part one some of the many standouts from the PA teams in attendance.
Zuri Harris Zuri Harris 5'11" | CG Coatesville | 2024 State PA | 6’1” PG | PA Coalition 17U
Harris had one of the best weekends of any player at the Spring Jamfest, as he led PA Coalition to one of the top 17U championships and was one of the most consistent players at the event. Harris gave off big time winning vibes as he handled pressure and got them in sets, and he was vocal and a leader while making plays for himself and others. He shot the ball very efficiently from deep and knocked down shots consistently, he made plays off the bounce when he touched the paint and he was very good defensively.
Dior Kennedy | 6’3” CG | PA Coalition 17U
Kennedy is perhaps the best long term prospect for this Coalition group that was so impressive, and they won the championship with just 6 players by the way, and Kennedy very rarely came out of the game. The 6’3” combo has a great frame with long arms and a strong upper body, and he plays with a good motor on both ends of the floor. He scored the ball well from all three levels, made plays for others and was a lock down defender who guarded multiple positions.
Isaac Dye Isaac Dye 6'3" | SG State College Area | 2024 PA | 6’3” WG | PA Coalition 17U
Dye was huge for this squad, especially in the championship game where he shot the cover off the ball and got hot at the right time helping them pull away for the championship. The 6’3” wing is a stocky and strong off guard who has effortless range and great confidence from deep, and he works well off the ball to get open and is excellent as a pick-and-pop option. He rebounds and competes defensively, he gets to the line often and he plays with a good motor and toughness to him.
Ian Herring | 6’5” WF | PK Flash 17U
Herring is an intriguing prospect who played very well for this PK Flash squad, as he showed a versatile skillset and was very productive across the board. The 6’5” wing is a playmaker as he handles the ball well particularly in transition, and he has good vision and is unselfish as a passer who puts it on the money. At 6’5” he has good size to finish in traffic, he can make shots from deep off the catch and off the bounce and he is a versatile defender too.
Sebastian Henson | 6’3” WG | York Basketball 17U
Henson had a great weekend for York, as the 6’3” two guard scored the ball in bunches and efficiently in a lot of different ways. He worked well off the ball to get open and was great cutting to the basket and finishing, he made shots from deep and he got to the line a lot and converted at a high clip. He also showed a good motor on the defensive end and he was a good rebounder for his position too.
Thaddeus Lee Thaddeus Lee 6'7" | PF Mercersburg Academy | 2025 State PA | 6’7” F | York Basketball 17U ’25
Lee is one of the more intriguing long term prospects at the event, as the 2025 prospect who was playing up showed a lot of promise and upside moving forward. At 6’7” he has a basketball frame with long arms and an upper body that should fill out, and he has great tools on the perimeter at his size that makes him a walking mismatch. He can put it on the deck and get to the rim where he’s a good finisher, he can make shots from deep off the catch and he can play and guard multiple positions depending on the look they threw out there.
