Despite his size, Cyrus is a true point guard with a creative handle that allows him to knife through tight spots and find his way to his spots on the court, whether it’s in the midrange or beyond the arc. While he may not be a consistent shooter from the perimeter, he is a good free throw shooter, showcasing his touch and feel for the game.

His quickness and agility allow him to position himself for the rebound, and his strength allows him to fight for the ball.He has a good feel for the game and can make smart passes, but he is still developing his scoring ability. He is a good finisher around the rim, but needs to work on his shooting from outside to become a more versatile scorer. Overall, Barnes is a gritty player who brings toughness and effort on both ends of the court.
