There were teams represented from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and possibly others. Out of 27 teams in 15U, these are the five players that made the 1st team for the all-tournament team. I will work up from third team all the way through the first team. Lets see who the top five players were!
DJ Pedulla DJ Pedulla 6’1″ | SG Edmond Memorial | 2026 State OK put on a show every time that he took the court. He was just like a ticking time-bomb, it seeming like he was going to explode every second that he was on the court. That is exactly what happened, with him having a game that he scored 36 points. He knocked down several three pointers in this game, while showing the ability to hit from mid-range, as well. He was knocking down catch and shoot jumpers, as well as dribble pull-ups. Not only was he scoring from these areas, he was getting to the rim and finishing. No matter if there was contact or not, he was not afraid. He knocked down a decent percentage of his free throws, as well. Scoring was not the only thing that he excelled at, as he showed flashes of being able to play make and not crumble under pressure. On defense, he was aggressive and coming away with several steals. I counted four steals in one game. He was playing good perimeter defense and was also grabbing rebounds. He had an offensive rebound that led to him putting it back in. He made a massive impact on both ends of the court.
JuCurtis Johnson
JuCurtis Johnson
JuCurtis Johnson had a massive impact on the team that won the championship game by 10. He shot the ball well, knocking down mid-range jumpers and three pointers. He showed the ability to hit shots while off-balance and also off of the dribble. That was not the only ways that he was scoring, as he would drive and finish at the basket. He was excelling at the mid-range jumper. He attacked the glass aggressively on numerous occasions. This led to him getting a few offensive rebounds and coming away with a putback. His impact expanded to defense, as well. That is where he came away with a couple of steals, but also played great defense. He was giving the ball-handler a hard time with great perimeter defense, even fighting through screens. It was a great run for him, as he was essential in his team winning the championship.
Gideon Holt
Gideon Holt
Gideon Holt was an essential piece in his team making it to the championship game. He showcased a great shooting ability, knocking down four three pointers when I watched him play. One of the threes was a pull-up three that was in rhythm. He was not afraid to get out and run in transition, as he had a few fast break points, beating the other team down the court for layups. Whenever he would get fouled, he would calmly knock them down. He was never phased or rattled. On the defensive end, he played solid defense, even knocking the ball away from the ball-handlers. It was a great run for him that barely fell short.
Landon Wiltz Landon Wiltz 6’2″ | SF Seaman | 2026 KS had a great performance, impacting the game in a multitude of ways. His biggest impact came with his rebounding, as he grabbed one rebound after another. It felt like he was magnetic, because the ball always found its way to him. Majority of his rebounds came on the defensive end, but he had a couple on the offensive end that led to points. One of them led to him knocking down free throws after he was fouled. The other one led to him having a putback. He got double teamed over and over, but he showed poised in making one great pass after another. Some of the passes led to assist. He showed the ability to drive and finish. There was one play that he drove by the defender and hit a floater before getting to the other defender. He had the best play that I saw during the whole tournament. He went up to shoot a three. When he did, he got knocked down out of the air as the ball was going through the net. He went on to make the free throw to complete the four-point play. It was an impressive display by him.
Highlights
Keon Young
Keon Young
Keon Young put on a show, making a massive impact for his team. He set the tone early, going 10/10 from the free throw line in the first half. He was regularly running in transition, pushing the pace, and attacking gaps to get to the rim for an easy finish or to draw the foul. Once the defense started focusing on him more, he would drive and kick to a teammate that was open in the corner or on the wing. He knocked down several three pointers, both catch and shoot and also pull-ups. He had several steals, in which more often than not he was turning into two points on the other end. His impact also came with rebounds, as he grabbed several rebounds and would push the pace by attacking the basket or finding a teammate in transition. He has good athleticism and speed, plus a lot of skill. It speaks volumes that his team was playing up against older competition and he was still able to make the 15U first team. He is someone to keep an eye on for the years to come.
