Games viewed live at Chaska High School:
Sanford Sports Academy 2028 Black – 58
Grassroots Hoops 2028 – 45
Young and Reckless – 44
Team FSA 2028 Blue Smith – 30
Wisconsin Academy 2028 Salby – 47
Minnesota Hoop Troop 2028 – 49
Musunguindji Mwententanda – 6’2” PF (2028) – Sanford Sports 2028 Black – Mwententanda is most definitely an up-and-comer to watch in the state of South Dakota. Good size and is skilled in the paint as a scorer. He was highly efficient, shooting a high percentage from the field. Rebounded the ball well. He’s one to keep an eye on the rest of the event.

Henry Veenhof – 5’10” SG (2028) – Sanford Sports 2028 – Veenhof made things look a little too easy. Such a skilled and developed prospect already as a 2028. Good size and a matured frame to him. He was handling the ball with ease and composure, and knocking down corner threes. He made himself available at the hoop as well, continually finishing at the hoop off the glass off dime passes from his teammates. Found the open holes and exploited.

Moussa Dukuly – 5’9-5’10” PG (2028) – Team FSA 2028 Blue Smith – Moussa is a legit point guard. I couldn’t find any weaknesses to his game, as he’s also a lockdown on-ball defender, while being an offensive playmaker. He rebounded well and would go with the ball immediately up-court, exploding through the defense. He’s able to change direction at top speed. Gets into the lane and will euro or find other creative ways to reach the rim. A transition nightmare for opposing teams. A legit handle on the ball, where he can go between the legs and create space behind the back while keeping his eyes on the rim/action. One for college coaches to take notice to.

Jaylen Weatherspoon – 5’10”-5’11” SF (2028) – Team FSA 2028 Blue Smith – Jaylen brought energy, power, and jumping ability. He was the toughness and inside rebounding presence of Team FSA. Moved bodies around and attacked the ball in the air for boards. He didn’t avoid contact one bit, as he fouled out with around three minutes left in the game. He was vocal and wanted to win.

Kahree Burton – 5’9″ SG (2028) – Young & Reckless – Burton is an explosive and powerful prospect. He attacked and invited contact. Made his money skying up for offensive rebounds. Things got a little feisty in this game and Burton was a big reason why. Super physical prospect that translates to a high-level rebounding wing. Didn’t see him take many jumpers because he was focused on being in attack-mode. Went off the dribble well.

Amir Tucker – 5’6″ PG (2028) – Young & Reckless – Amir is a point guard that has a quick and tight handle on the ball. Shoots the three well and has some explosion when handling the ball on the move. Had a tough matchup early with Dukyly, otherwise we maybe would have seen more scoring opportunities or to find some more space.

Blake Jones – 6’1″ F (2028) – Minnesota Hoop Troop 2028 – Blake was a beast. He stood out in the game from the tip. Translates to a Wing/4 that is highly physical and can score going at the hoop. Handles the ball well enough to get to his spots to score. Brings 100% effort on the defensive end and will get down in a stance and pressure the ball. His passing ability cannot go unnoticed either.

Nolan Greene – 6’2″ F/C (2028) – Minnesota Hoop Troop 2028 – Nolan seemed to impress more as the game went on. He made plays in the second half and late in the game. Good size and can play away from the hoop. He also was a strong rebounder in the paint and was getting physical. Ran the floor well in transition to get easy buckets.

Carson Schoenherr – 5’11” SG (2028) – Wisconsin Academy 2028 Salby – Carson is a prospect that I didn’t have tabbed as a standout until I realized how well, fluid, and quick he was moving on the court. A prospect that plays fast all over the court that also has some offensive firepower. Had a really nice left-handed finish in transition with defense all over him. Good size, movement, and an all-around prospect that helps win games.

Ryder Fitzsimons – 6’0″ SG (2028) – Wisconsin Academy 2028 Salby – Ryder has a good size/skill combination from the 2-guard spot. He was handling the ball a lot, trying to get an offensive look. He did just that and scored from the inside and from three. Great and solid build, as you’ll see below. Has a skilled handle on the ball from a wing.

AJ Gnewuch – 6’0″ Wing (2028) – Wisconsin Academy 2028 Salby – AJ is one of those kids that catches your eye when the team is warming up. This is because of his length and athletic frame. He didn’t disappoint on the court, either. Another prospect without any noticeable flaws to his game. He hit threes and was explosive off the dribble. Showed a quick first-step. Brought down a ton of boards and was boxing out and fighting for position when the ball went up.
