The prospects in the building all had their minds set on showing just why they work so hard on their game. Each game had highlight worthy plays, and players looking to prove their team was worthy of a Championship Title. Although there can only be one champion, there was no shortage of intensity throughout the entire weekend in each division. This event is jam packed with known and soon to be known talent. Here are my “Midwest Showdown” threats in the paint.
Andrew Jensen Andrew Jensen 6'9" | C Kaukauna | 2026 State WI – All Wisconsin
Jensen is versatile in every sense of the word and in most cases a jack of all trades for All Wisconsin. He’s able to shadow guards and cause havoc atop full court pressure as well as anchoring the paint in the half court. Most impressive is his explosiveness when he’s in a scorer’s mindset. Most impressive is his unselfishness and ability to get others involved.
Blake Risler – Northwest Elite
Risler has a very smooth approach to the game to go along with great size at the forward position. He is versatile in his scoring attack being able to bang in the post as well as stretch the floor off the catch for a deep Northwest Elite. When on the floor the flow of the offense and the spacing was much improved.
Langston McClure – ABC Lions
McClure is a forward with guard-like skills for ABC Lions. He was very effective making plays from the mid post area, finding teammates and surveying the floor before attacking. His handle and court vision in transition was apparent all weekend.
Kameron Woods – Chapman Basketball Academy
Woods is a big wing with next level athleticism. His impact altering shots and ability to board on both ends was apparent. Woods has a versatile style of play where he can be plugged into multiple positions and impact the game. Most impressive was his ability to finish through contact in the low post.
Henry Greutzmacher – 24:Up
Greutzmacher was a presence in the paint all weekend for 24:Up. He wields great height and strength at the forward position. His role as an anchor in the paint was on full display, altering, deterring, and blocking shots. In addition he was a big and reliable target in the post which allowed his team to play inside-out.
