This kid plays like he has been shot out of a cannon. One of the fastest kids on the floor almost every single time. He is faster then most with the ball in his hands. That speed allows him to get that first step and beat anyone coming over to rotate. A lot of times defenders on the help side come over too early and he just throws a lob or finds an open player. He is scanning the floor really well and if you pick him too high he is a player that can do work off the bounce. He has emerged as ne of the top PG’s in the country and the way he can play on both ends really separates him from others. The kid is a talented player coming out of Arizona.
We have been tracking Ryan way back when he was below 6’0 and this kid has had a major growth spur since then as he is now one of the premier wings out West. His work ethic and all-around skill inside and out really make him a prospect that you cannot ignore. He is already showcasing his excellent shooting. A lot of times he is guarded by bigger players and he finds ways to get the shot off, either with a jab or a quick attack and step back but the kid has range. One of our favorite moves is watching him attack and then hit that pull-up. The kid out there taking bumps and pushes and he is not complaining he is playing through it and he is a high level player that projects high, especially with his older brother playing on the Orlando Magic.
Isaiah is a big time shooter with some cold blooded shooting range. His game is starting to evolve as now he is running with G1 Elite and it is primarily his old squad but he is not just out there hunting for three-pointers. Barnes is trying to get to his spots now He is working the mid-range and he is attacking the rim as well. That does not mean he is not hunting for shots because he is a good shooter and his guys look for him.
This big fella can ball. Not only does he have a solid foundation in his overall game, but the shooting makes him really dangerous. Often times he gets another big on him and that big has to rotate or be un super help and that is when Mayom is at his best. With the ability to knock them down in a catch and shoot he can also sneak behind the defense and catch lobs. He is usually good for two to three lobs or dunks a game. He is still developing that handle but he can dribble and when he puts the ball down on the flor for a dribble or two and attacks he can cover a lot of ground.
