Continue ReadingA long, athletic guard who is at his best when he’s playing downhill and getting to the bucket, Bradford-Gates is an intriguing prospect with the type of length and athleticism that will grab the eyes of coaches. When he’s engaged, he’s a good on-ball defender who moves his feet and contests shots, and he’s a solid playmaker who sees the floor well.
An unsigned senior, Jones is a big, physical power wing who can score in bunches from all three levels. He shoots it well off the catch from deep and can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim where he powers through contact for finishes with either hand. He can operate out of the mid-and-high post areas as a playmaker and passer, and he’s a confident shooter from anywhere.
Josh Beatty
Josh Beatty
An off-ball guard who moves his feet well on the defensive end, Beatty does a great job always seeing man and ball, putting himself in the right spot on the defensive end. He’s a good shooter off the catch with a pure stroke.
Jacob Beatty
Jacob Beatty
The other Beatty brother is more of a point guard who can get his teammates involved at a high level. He’s small but long, and he uses that length to compete on the glass on both ends of the floor. He’s a good shooter off both the dribble and the catch, getting the ball into his shooting pocket quickly.
Leo Christensen
Leo Christensen
Christensen is a rangy 6-4 wing with good size and length. He attacks hard closeouts and gets to the rim for finishes and showed that he can shoot it well off the catch. He uses his length to get into passing lanes on the defensive end.
Christian Kadiebue
Christian Kadiebue
Kadiebue is an interesting player, a bouncy 6-4/6-5 big man who hits the offensive glass hard. He’s very raw on the offensive end, but he has a great second jump that he uses to control the glass.
Hans Ngolaminga
Hans Ngolaminga
Ngolaminga is a bouncy, 6-7 forward with a good frame that he can continue adding some strength onto. He rebounds well on both ends of the floor and can protect the rim defensively. He needs to improve his touch around the rim, but his free-throw stroke looks good, suggesting he may be able to add a little bit of range to his game.
Cameron Roberts
Cameron Roberts
Roberts is small, listed at 5-8, but he’s quick and is a really good on-ball defender who uses his quick feet and hands to make life difficult for opposing ball-handlers. He can put some pressure on opposing defenses with his quickness and ability to get into the paint.
Da’jon Sharkey
Da’jon Sharkey
A lead guard who keeps the ball moving, Sharkey had a solid showing on both ends of the floor when we watched Salvation. He moves his feet on the defensive end and while he’s not a huge offensive weapon, he knows his role and plays it well – getting his teammates involved and taking open shots when they’re available.
J’kwon Wise
J’kwon Wise
A long, athletic combo guard who rebounds well on both ends of the floor, Wise is an above-the-rim finisher who has really improved his skill set as a halfcourt offensive player over the last year. He’s tightening up his handle and is able to use a quick first step to get by the defender and to the rim for finishes.
Jabari Woodbury
Jabari Woodbury
A bouncy do-it-all wing, Woodbury is a capable ball-handler and playmaker, and he’s a good finisher around the rim who competes hard on the glass on both ends of the floor.
