is a point guard. Very thin. His handle is nice enough, but he gets bullied in the lane right now.
Christian Thompson Christian Thompson 5'8" | PG Battle Ground Academy | 2026 State TN runs an offense crisply. He sees the floor well and makes the right decision when driving. Thompson does not force shots. He does not over-dribble. Good instincts.
Jaylin McDonald (Blackman) could be something. At 6-foot-5, he showed off very, very soft touch from the free throw line. He plays center right now, but it is very early. He needs a stronger base, though the skills and height are enticing. He reminds a little of Brandon Thomas (Blackman ’18).
Davion Dail sees himself as an outside shooter, but his consistency is not there yet. Passes well. At his size he will be a point guard, if he attracts college attention in the years to come. Good shoulder development. Sturdy dude. Decent explosion with the basketball. He will always find himself towered over in the lane, so he needs to figure out some really elusive, mid-air moves as he gets to the varsity level.

moves like a cornerback. He showed off very, very good lower-body balance in a blowout win over the Clippers Saturday morning at the Bluff City Blues event. He is strong in the lane as a sophomore-to-be. Right now TJ stands around 5-foot-7,, but plays a little bigger because of his heft. Not yet a shooter. The shot is not even refined, so it will require plenty of time in the gym to develop this tangible, important skill. Otherwise, Irvine will be a Marcus Smart-type, rock solid, an elite on-ball defender. Plus rebounder. Irvine is fun to watch because he is so physical and nimble in traffic. With this team he was never asked to create or dribble for an extended period of time. Irvine, again, will need to develop his guard skills greatly if he remains at this height.
James Bega is a strong young man, but he plays al little flat-footed. Needs to improve his speed. On a team littered with ball-handlers, he did not get to demonstrate any guard skills.
