Marvin Louis
Louis’ ability to score on all three levels was on full display today. One intriguing aspect of Louis’s game that I noticed was his ability to breakdown his defenders and change speed to create space for his shot. He is also a consistent finisher around the rim with the ability to finish through or around opposing defenders. Louis is definitely a player to keep an eye on as the spring continues.
Jermaine McNeil
Jermaine McNeil
McNeil is a polished floor general that can both score the ball and make plays to teammates. His lefthandedness makes him extremely crafty and hard to predict. He can also thread the needle with his passes to teammates. He also showed the ability to play with pace and poiseOn defense, McNeil locks in on defense, and is a vocal leader on both ends of the floor.
Hassan Jenkins
Hassan Jenkins
Jenkins is a do it all type of player that always just seems to be at the right place at the right time in order to make winning plays. Jenkins is a smooth ball handler who size and frame also allow him to score with ease. He also has excellent court vision and a high basketball IQ, which shows when he facilitates and orchestrates the offense. Jenkins also crashes the boards and creates extra possessions for his team with his hustke plays
Nomani’s stellar play got his team all the way to the semi finals. He is a poised point guard that can facilitate the offense and control the pace of the game. Nomani can score in a variety of ways, which was was imminent all weekend. If given to much space, Nomani can knockdown shots all the way out to the three-point line. Nomani also has a knack for get into the teeth of the defense in transition and in half court sets, where he shows his crafty finishing abilities. He also ability to lock up opposing guards on defense.
Lateef Patrick
Lateef Patrick
Patrick is a guard that showed his ability to score the ball consistently. He has an extremely quick first step, which allows him to get by opposing defenders in into the lane where he finish in traffic. Patrick also has deep range from three, and can knockdown shots from mid-range as well. He has also shown the ability to take and make clutch shots. Already having multiple offers, expect more college programs to add Patrick to the recruiting list.
