So, what makes a Prep Hoops “GameChanger?” That is up to the eyes of the beholder. It may be an additional top performer still leftover from our prior event coverage. It could also be a player who made a key play that swung the game or maybe knocked in a game-winning shot that could be highlighted here. Or, it simply could be a prospect that brought all of the intangibles to the table that led his team to victory. Let’s dive on in and highlight some of the GameChangers from the weekend’s Prep Hoops Circuit Havoc in the Heartland that took place on the north side of Indianapolis.

INB 2024 Elite was up against some stiff competition in a loaded Pool A at the Havoc in the Heartland, but Butcher was a bright spot with his elite athleticism and physical traits. The 6’4″ wing is a talented right hand driver and slasher that can rebound his area and defend multiple positions.
A bigger guard out of Leo High School, the 6’3″ Hiteshew averaged 14.5 points per game on the weekend for OPS 2024 Black. Despite coming in a close loss to Team Takeoff 2024-1, his 23-point performance on Saturday evening was the most impressive. He knocked down five three-pointers in that contest.

A smaller 5’10” guard for C.H.A.M.P.I.O.N.S 2024 Red, Huttenlocker had it cooking from beyond the arc this weekend at the Havoc in the Heartland. His scoring ability was a big part of leading his team to a 3-1 record. An under-the-radar name to remember coming out of southern Indiana.
Morel capped off the weekend by scoring 21 points in a win over Team Takeoff 2024-2 as M14 Hoops 2024 National 1 finished 4-0 at the Havoc in the Heartland. At 6’3″, Morel has good size on the wing and shot the ball very well throughout the event.

This 5’11” guard from Lemont High School put up some big numbers as he lead his Lituanica Basketball Academy 2024 team to a perfect 4-0 record on the weekend. Paskausaks is an elite catch-and-shoot threat from beyond the arc that can also create some shots for himself off of the dribble. Intriguing perimeter scoring threat.
