13U Top Two-Way Guards
Deivion Woods | 5’11” | WE ACADEMY NATIONAL 2028 | Helfrich Park Stem Academy (Indiana)
WE ACADEMY NATIONAL is a group that brought a lot of talent to Fairland. When they play together as a unit, they are locking you up on defense and splashing 3s. Woods was one of the primary contributors on both ends. Although they are deep at the guard position, Woods made the most of his time on the court. He was at his best when he was driving the ball downhill and getting into the paint area.
Vasaun Wilmington | Mac Irvin Fire (Illinois)
Wilmington is another player that plays at his pace. He won’t outrun you but he can slide past you by using hesitations and shakes to create space. He has the skill set to be another great player in the Mac Irvin Fire system. Wilmington guards the ball with physicality and isn’t afraid to gamble on your crossover. Mac Irvin Fire has a team full of defenders – Wilmington was definitely the stand-out.
Zayden Kite | 5’9″ | Tennessee Travelers 2028 | Jefferson Middle (Tennessee)
Kite is a hard worker that used his defense to gain minutes over the weekend. A scout, much like a coach, looks for effort and energy from every player. Regardless of your skill set or your abilities, effort and energy can take you a long way. Kite showed that he is more than capable of battling on defense and digging out loose rebounds. Offensively, he finally found his shooting touch on Sunday which helped the Travelers cruise to the Silver Championship victory.
Daniel Gibson | Team Flyght 2028 Ohio (Ohio)
Offensively, Gibson can flat out score. He can catch and shoot from the perimeter. He can bring it inside and drop a soft-touch floater. We also saw him nail the step-back mid-game jump shot showing the evolution of his game. Defensively, he caught our attention with his read-and-react in the passing lanes. Live ball turnovers are plentiful in the spring/summer. It is a great way to get your offensive going and a skill that will make his school team coach very pleased.
Pierce Berkemeier | All H.E.A.R.T. Basketball Club 2028
Overall, an up-and-down weekend for Berkemeier and the All H.E.A.R.T. club. He was still a top performer in our scouting by doing the little things that make his teammates better. As a primary ball handler, he showed good patience working with ball screens, specifically high screens. Additionally, he used his southpaw approach to glide in the paint and did an outstanding job to drop off catchable passes to his bigs so they can gather and score with little hesitation.
Amileo Norvell | Team Flyght Ohio 2028 (Ohio)
