Sunday’s Best
Braylon Aldinger Braylon Aldinger 6'4" | SG Bismarck Century | 2026 State ND (2026) |6’2 G/F| ECI 15U Prospects
5 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist. His numbers do not pop off the screen but you could tell that he has talent. Aldinger is a big wing that can make plays in and out. He showed off his shooting ability with a catch-n-shoot triple from the coffin corner. He is a versatile defender and a hard worker. I would consider Aldinger as a dual-threat player, has noteworthy skills, and is also a grinder/hard worker.
Cameron Miller Cameron Miller 6'1" | PG Fargo Davies | 2026 State ND (2026) |6’0 G| ECI 15U Prospects
4 points, 1 assist, 1 steal. He did not put up crazy numbers when I was watching but it was easy to see that Miller is ultra-skilled and smooth on the court. He did have a very nice slash-n-score. Cam used a freeze-dribble to get the D off balance, he rejected the ball screen, crossed to his left, and finished with his inside hand while a defender was on his back.
Chris Benning Chris Benning 5'10" | SG St. Mary's | 2026 State ND (2026) |5’10 G| ECI 15U Prospects
14 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 triples. One of the first things I saw Benning do was catch-n-shoot from the top of the key and show off his buttery-smooth release. He was also finishing with strength. Chris absorbed contact around the rim and still scored. He also weaved through the defense like a traffic cop. Benning was oftentimes one step ahead of the defense. I was also impressed with his passing and ball skills. Benning runs the floor hard and he scored multiple buckets by sprinting down the floor. It is like he has a 6th sense of when a fastbreak is going to happen. Benning went off in the Championship game this evening for 29 points and 7 triples.
Dylan Glasser Dylan Glasser 6'0" | SG Dickinson | 2026 State ND (2026) |5’11 G| ECI 15U Prospects
5 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal. He did the little things this morning. Glasser showed great hustle and extra effort with an O-board putback score. He delivered a beautiful dime in transition. I really like how Dylan moves and shares the ball. The rock never gets sticky in Glasser’s hands. He stuck out as an unselfish and smart player.
Garrett Nissley Garrett Nissley 6'3" | CG Bismarck Century | 2026 State ND (2026) |6’1 G| ECI 15U Prospects
12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 2 triples. He stuck out with his skill set and his demeanor on the court. Nissley is a good-sized backcourt player and a nice athlete. He anticipates well on D and his quick hands lead to steals. Garrett sees the floor well and creates for others when attacking the basket. It looks like Garrett can make all the passes. Nissley also appears to be a talented shooter from beyond the arc.
Luke Anema Luke Anema 6'1" | SG Dakota Valley | 2026 State SD (2026) |6’0 G| Sanford Sports 15U Grey
12 points with four triples. He stuck out as a confident shooter. Anema has extended range and I like how he spaces the floor. Luke looks to be an in-rhythm shooter from beyond the arc. He is from Dakota Valley, so it is not a big surprise that Anema is a shooter.
Sam Glandt Sam Glandt 6'2" | SG West Fargo | 2026 State ND (2026) |6’1 G/F| ECI 15U Prospects
12 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 1 triple. I like how he uses his jab step to keep defenders off balance. He also showed an effective spin move. His most impressive play was his short baseline pull-up. Glandt drove hard, felt/saw the help, rose up with strength, elevated over the D, and hit the shot with a soft touch. That did not look like a freshman move. Sam also showed the ability to hit the 3-ball.
Stellen Larson Stellen Larson 6'3" | SG Harrisburg | 2026 State SD (2026) |6’1 G| Sanford Sports 15U Grey
His team took the L but Larson battled all game and finished with 27 points, four triples, and was 7/9 from the line. He is a good-sized guard for a freshman and Stellen is an aggressive player. He first impressed me with a sweet floater from mid-lane. I liked how Larson alleviated pressure and how he was also in attack mode. Stellen has a nasty hesitation move and his mid-range jumper is true and to the mark. I liked his ability to stop-n-pop on a dime. Larson also had a 4-point play. He was fouled on a 3-pointer, the shot went in, and he knocked down the FT. Larson made a great impression this morning.
Tobin Squires Tobin Squires 6'7" | PF Sioux Valley | 2026 State SD (2026) |6’5 F| Sanford Sports 15U Grey
This was my first time seeing him play live and you can tell that the young Squires has potential. I imagine that he will keep growing as well. Tobin seems to already have a long wingspan. I like his effort on the offensive glass. Tobin grabbed multiple O-boards and he scored with a putback. I was impressed with a soft baby hook around the basket.
Zavion Harildstad Zavion Harildstad 6'3" | PF Bismarck Century | 2026 State ND (2026) |6’2 F| ECI 15U Prospects
6 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals. He first impressed me when he made an unselfish kickout pass to a teammate for a 3. Most players would have looked for the shot in a situation like that and Harildstad chose the latter. Next, Zavion impressed with his physicality, timing, and hustle on the O-glass. This kid is a big athlete and he is tough to box out. Zavion showed excellent anticipation on defense that led to steals and he also dove on the floor for a loose ball.
Congrats to the ECI 15U Prospects, 5-0, and winning the Championship at the ECI Spring Showcase!
