I watched as many as the 31 17U teams as I could and ended up seeing 26 of them.
I also caught some 15 and 16U games and here were some of the younger standouts.
Here were some of the top 2025 Standouts I viewed:
Amous Pice Amous Pice 6'1" | SG Mountain Pointe | 2025 State AZ Mountain Pointe (The Legion of Hoops 16 Navy)
A strong framed scoring guard can pull-up from mid-range, shoot the three and cuts when he should. He rebounds well for a guard and will score thru contact with his thicker build and toughness. This will be his team this year with many seniors graduating.
Ashton Berry Ashton Berry 5'10" | PG AZ Compass Prep | 2025 State AZ AZ Compass Prep (Uptempo Elite 2026-1)
A point guard with a scorers mentality. He is a plus defender with quicker hands to steal the ball. He can take the ball off the rim and go coast to coast. He has a nice floater game and his pull-up is improving from mid-range.
Deshaun Johnson Deshaun Johnson 6'3" | SF Corona del Sol | 2025 State AZ Corona del Sol (Uptempo Elite 2025)
An athletic wing forward has a long body to defend and is a good defender in space. He crashes the glass and he can euro his way to the rim. He picks up a lot of loose balls with his long arms and athleticism and will score inside.
Tyree Winston Tyree Winston 5'11" | CG AZ Compass Prep | 2025 State AZ AZ Compass Prep (Uptempo Elite 2025)
A combo guard keeps his opponents in front of him with his strong hands. He makes smart reads to teammates and can power up inside to score with his stronger frame. He is a good passer and has a polished floater game that may be his best move.
Oshea Bonner Oshea Bonner 5'9" | PG Saguaro | 2025 State AZ Saguaro (Uptempo Elite 2025)
An undersized point guard is as tough as they come. He has very quick hands and is very fast in the open court. He is a dog on the ball defender and is easily one of the better ones in the 2025 class. He can score in the lane and his drive and kick stuff is very good.
Elijah Brush Elijah Brush 6'4" | SF Hamilton | 2025 State AZ Chandler (AZ Gremlins 2025-1) (Pictured)
A long forward is steadily improving. He is rebounding and blocking shots more. He is getting stronger inside and is more physical despite a leaner frame. He gives hard ball fakes to score or will throw a good pass near the basket. He can go on his own personal runs shooting the three and may not be done growing.
Justin Garcia Justin Garcia 5'11" | PG Basha | 2025 State AZ Basha (AZ Gremlins 2025-1)
A quick combo guard is good in transition. He plays some on and off the ball. He will make difficult contested shots and moves the ball. He can hit the three off the catch plus can side step and hit perimeter jumpers.
