I watched as many as the 31 17U teams as I could and ended up seeing 26 of them.
These teams are a combination of teams performance and players performance.
17U 4th Team
Gabe Britton PF 6’4 Vista Peak (Colorado United Basketball Club)
A tough inside and out power forward. He can shoot the three, he has big hands to corral rebounds and toughness to hang inside with bigger players. He consistently scores among the post players and can rip thru in traffic. His energy and competitiveness keeps him on the floor.
Isiaac Boykin Desert Pines (Las Vegas Olympians 2024)
A true combo guard who makes plays with his passing and can shoot the three with range and a quick trigger. He has a very good floater game and can step into shots off the dribble. He had one nasty in and out move in the 17U Final to score and plays with big confidence.
Bronson Chambers Bronson Chambers 6'5" | SF Dream City Christian | 2023 State AZ Dream City Christian (New Mexico D1 2024) (Pictured)
A long wing is a three level scorer. He can hit the catch three and pull-up from mid-range off the dribble. He can dribble drive and then throw a laser to a teammate for an assist. He will defend the 2-4 for the team and boxes out well to rebound. A team player who can score.
Marshall Kerley Marshall Kerley 6'6" | SF Thunderbird | 2023 State AZ Thunderbird (AZ Firestorm 2024 Black)
A top unsigned wing forward is a knockdown shooter. His catch and shoot three game is money. He is one of the top shooters left on the board and lets it fly one by one. He is smart, has some toughness and squares up perfectly every attempt.
Kwaje Laila Kwaje Laila 5'11" | SG Franklin | 2024 State OR Franklin (Pro Tech 2024)
A tough thicker guard who can catch and shoot from the three point line and plays with a tough motor to rebound. He can rattle in threes and uses his strength to defend bigger players. He constantly moves without the ball and plays with a big IQ and a motor to compete.
Nasir Mills Vista Peak PG 5’9 2023 (Colorado United Basketball Club 2024)
An undersized point guard is tough and fearless. He can get into the teeth of the defense and dime his teammates or pull-up from mid-range. He has a tough floater game and is a physical on-ball defender. He controlled the tempo of the game and made some clutch shots and free throws down the stretch to win it.
Cezer Sotomayor Cezer Sotomayor 6'1" | CG American Leadership Academy Gilbert North | 2025 State AZ ALA-Gilbert North (AZ Gremlins 2025)
A controlled and poised combo guard. He can seamlessly play on or off the ball. He can post up and go to work, moves the ball and is a low turnover guard. He can catch and shoot from the three point line and can pull-up from mid-range. He understands how to change speeds and plays within himself.
Andre Austin CG 6’1 2025 Bismarck (Pack 2024)
The sophomore guard has a shifty handle to get into the paint to score. He changes speeds and gets to the rim. He will drive and kick it to a shooter and can shoot it from the perimeter but prefers to get downhill.
