They played against a very solid Texas Takeover program that usually has at least one Division 1 player on roster. Utah Gold was sizing them up early. The were trying to get out early and they ran their offense and a few sets. They quickly found out that they could move the ball and just find open players all over the floor.
Tanner was great this morning. He was playing solid gap defense and he was out on the break finishing ahead of the pack and he was also leading the pack off of rebounds pushing the tempo. He was great out in the perimeter in a catch and shoot and he was also smart with his attacks. So much upside with this kid.
Highlights
Blake is back on the floor and his strength and toughness was able to keep Takeover from getting back in the game. He had some solid rebounds on both ends of the floor. His willingness to pass out of the post is a thing this team needs does so well.
Hard to say Ace wasn’t the best player out on the floor this morning. He does more than just pass and score. He is boxing out bigs, he is making the extra pass and he is making things happen. He did not get rattled with pressure at all and his constant movement and shot making ability is just next level.
Highlights
AAU Zach Fisher Zach Fisher 6'7" | CG Davis | 2024 State UT Mode is impressive. He is a wing that can play the 3 and he is shooting with confidence and he is not passing up good looks for an extra pass. Zach is slashing and just leaving his fingerprints on the game. He is a stat stuffer for sure.
When you’re scanning the floor you are likely to see Tiger moving into position as he is always finding gaps in the defense. Tiger is always reading the situations and he knows how to move the ball and move without the ball.
