Mykah Mendoza Mykah Mendoza 6'1" | SG Roseburg | 2024 State OR | SG | Roseburg – #35
It was a huge breakout junior season for Mendoza, especially offensively. The explosive lefty notched a school-record 48 points in one game against South Medford, using his ability to create space of the dribble to free himself for open threes or finish at the rim in transition. He ended up averaging just under 20 points a game while shooting over 55 percent from the field, 37 percent from deep.
Liam Slattum Liam Slattum 6'8" | PF Woodburn | 2024 State OR | PF | Woodburn – #39
A 6-foot-8 transfer from West Salem, Slattum immediately settled into the starting post for Woodburn, making an impact with his rebounding and defense while showing the ability to stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting, hitting 37 percent from three-point range.
Trey Saunders Trey Saunders 6'0" | CG South Eugene | 2024 State OR | CG | South Eugene – #41
Saunders started out the season like a house on fire with his scoring, and while an injury took away most of the second half of the season, the 6-foot-2 guard ended up one of the state’s leading scorers at over 20 points per game. He’s a good shooter blessed with a solid frame, of which he utilizes well when finishing in transition.
Marcos Ramirez Marcos Ramirez 6'0" | PG Sandy | 2024 State OR | PG | Sandy – #45
One of the pleasant surprises in the Mt Hood Conference this season, Ramirez emerged as a scoring and passing threat from the point guard spot. His average of 4.9 assists per game ranked among the tops in 6A and his ability to get to the basket and draw contact came with great success as he shot over 89 percent from the free throw line.
Markus McCreadie Markus McCreadie 6'7" | C Henley | 2024 State OR | C | Henley – #50
Our first look at McCreadie was at the 4A tournament – and it was a good one as the 6-foot-7 post posted 29 points on near-perfect 12-for-13 shooting in the quarterfinals in an upset over Baker, showing a great knack for getting in the right position down in the post and a soft touch on his shot.. On the season he averaged just less than 14 points, 8 rebounds, and just under 3 blocks a game,
Mac Bledsoe Mac Bledsoe 6'4" | SF Summit | 2024 State OR | SF | Summit – #57
A transfer back to Oregon after spending some time in Idaho, the well-built Bledsoe would up in the starting lineup at Summit where he was an efficient operator offensively and a hard-nosed defender. He’s also a great athlete who can finish powerfully at the rim.
Quincy Aranda Quincy Aranda 5'7" | PG De La Salle North Catholic | 2024 State OR | PG | De La Salle North – #59
One of the quickest players in the state at the 3A level, Aranda constantly kept defenders off-balance with his shifty moves which allowed him to create getting to the basket or create space for long-range bombs.
Coven Rotter Coven Rotter 6'4" | SF Dallas | 2024 State OR | SF | Dallas – #65
Rotter has good size and skill for a wing at around 6-foot-4, and was a steady contributor for Dallas this past season.
Trevin Slagle Trevin Slagle 6'5" | PF Canby | 2024 State OR | PF | Canby – #69
Hard-nosed and tough post player that showed the potential to put up scoring-rebounding double-doubles this year.
Demir Johnson Demir Johnson 6'5" | PF Roosevelt | 2024 State OR | PF | Jefferson – #73
Still a bit raw on the offensive end, the rising senior known as “DJ” is an athletic post who can contribute solely with his rebounding and defense.
