We were able to see a few teams from Idaho Premier play this weekend down in the Palmetto State. Who were some players that stuck out in performance from Rock Hill?
Russell Gibson Russell Gibson 6'2" | CG Eagle | 2024 State ID a fearless minded guard comes as tough as they come on the hardwood. Gibson who attends Eagle HS was able to drive the baseline and score the ball here today vs Crab5 (TX). Russell shows some shake-bake at times when he has the rock in his hands. He surely logs a lot of minutes on the floor and never seems to leave the game.
Gibson played earlier in his high school career at Wasatch Academy (UT) and Real Salt Lake (UT).
Braden Sherr Braden Sherr 6'5" | SF Mountain View | 2024 ID came out on fire and never missed a beat vs Martin Brothers 16U (IA). Sherrill finished with 18 points while connecting on 6 three pointers. Braden was running with the Idaho Premier 16U despite being a member of the 2024 class.
Sherrill shows a big-time stroke with a quick trigger from downtown. He shot a ball at a good clip and never looked to force anything while on the floor. Very productive SHOOTER.
Parker Lambert plays the game with a GREAT MOTOR just like on the gridiron in the fall as a Wide Receiver. Lambert was active on both ends of the floor crashing the glass. He plays his best basketball around the cup just staying active from side to side with his quick footwork. Parker was able to connect on a few short jumpers 10-12 feet out.
Machaon Savedra Machaon Savedra 5'10" | PG Rocky Mountain | 2025 State ID was able to get shifty with the ball in his hands at times racing by defenders. He was able to touch the paint and find an open man on the receiving end. Savedra a north-south player was able to connect on a few three-pointers. Machaon plays with a tough-minded attitude on the floor along with some swag.
